Nostalgic Needle

Tree of Life with Dragon
I saw it on another site and it claimed to be 3 1/2" x 4 1/2" on 32 count, never read the Ebay description which says 7" x 9" on the same linen. That makes more sense, I wondered how this could be so small. I've always wanted the Tree of Life book cover design but never made a bid in time. This is much more stitching and I'm not crazy about the size but glad it will be in my stash.
Jason was here all day. He'll be coming back soon. He asked me for coffee on a previous job so I had it ready for him and he asked twice if he could hug me. I said no. Was I stunned into stupidity or afraid I wouldn't let go?

Howling with laughter.... Oh, that Jason guy.....
Love that new stash addition.
You are wickedly funny!
Oh, my, goodness. Whoa Nelly !
Hugs from me.

Afraid you'd be a cougar? 😂😂😂
Marly, I suggest you have a party when all your work is done and invite ALL OF US to your place to see the results.......and to hug Jason
What a great new pattern. I actually had to read the hug from Jason part twice to make sure I got that right!
Good Lord! I’m sure I would have said the same thing while making some awful snorting giggle.
No, I would have hugged Jason, after all he was raised to ask! Love the new pattern.
I hope you didn't hurt his feelings.
Oh I say hug away...better give him 4 to make up for the 2 he asked for and didn't get! He probably won't ask again!!
Marly, Oh hon you should of grabbed on with both hands and never left go. Okay so that's a little over the hill.....but it's a nice thought. I like the pattern you won. Isn't it great to finally win something that you've been watching. I received the towels today and they are simply stunning. Now I'm thinking they are too beautiful to cut in to. I must find a way of displaying these. Thank you so much for sharing them with me. I truly appreciate it.
I am so glad I didn't bid on that! I saw it, was VERY intrigued, had my bid typed in, and then cancelled. Glad it went to a good home!
As for the hug - once refused, must always refuse on the same day otherwise who knows what may happen from there. :)

Gorgeous pattern. I have one or two of her designs in my stash...I should stitch again, but I'm loving knitting.
What? You didn’t give him a hug? I’m so disappointed ..... on behalf of all the old bats out here that would have scooped him up and given him a big squeeze! 🤦♀️😉
Lovely pattern.
Hummm, could've been either. Do you need someone to slap you up side your head (metaphorically speaking)? Give that hunk a hug! And then tell us all about it...
What a pretty design. As for the hug, keep that coffee coming!!
Hi Marly,
The Tree of Life would be 4.5" x 3.5" if stitched as charted in tent stitch over one thread on 32 count. I have the chart and might actually stitch it soon, I didn't realise it was so small either.
That's a pretty sampler! Referring back to your earlier post -- I have had those things on my fingers for ages. I have arthritis all over the place, not just my fingers. Never knew what those things on my fingers were called though. And now I've forgotten the term. Ah well. Hope that cut is better. Ouch. More Jason? :D
thank you for a much needed laugh this morning.
You HUG anyone any time, they may need it, my Moms a BIG hugger
all her life and she's 94.
My husband died Thursday and I would love a hug right now.
Blessings,
Cheryl
