Another add

to stash I will never stitch.  But maybe, just maybe, I will have enough confidence and patience to pick up Sharon Cohen's designs one day.  I've managed to snag the pockets on Ebay, last month the Tree of Life, and yesterday this beauty.  Tent stitches on 32 count and I may be able to handle that.

Even if I never stitch them, having them is a good thing.  I'm sure many of you understand wanting to possess special designs that make us smile, even if we only look at the photo!

Have a great day.

I have trouble and never finish anything with tent stitch, I stick to X and Algerian eyelet stitches which are incredible fun to do!

I have done her knot garden...small bit yet to finish, but oh what a sense of
accomplishment when you near the finish line. Even just studying the design that
you might attempt, can bring a sense of joy.

Oh boy Marly: Just knowing I have a design and kit makes me happy even if I never stitch it, I know how you feel.
Which Tree of life are you talking about? I did one that was designed by Lois Norford about 25 years ago, or is there another one? just curious.

Nothing wrong with a little obsession!

Do you mind me asking how much you paid for the chart? I have loads of NN charts, including this one, but I don't get much when selling on Ebay UK, so wondered if the US site might reap better rewards. Funnily enough I just printed out a working copy of the pillow chart the other day, having done a few tent stitches on another project and they are so quick and easy to do. This would be the first all tent stitch project I have tackled though, but it's only small and I might mount into a tart tin if and when I get it finished.

That is a pretty design. I have lots of needlework patterns that I may never stitch. I'm not ready to say will never stitch yet. But every time to I go to set some free to new owners, I usually find I still like them, or the way something was done in the design. At least my needlework patterns don't take up nearly as much space as my sewing patterns that will probably never be sewn.

are you kidding? it would take me 5 lifetimes to stitch all the 'must have' patterns in my stash. so many beautiful designs,,,, so little time. you are definitely not alone in this.

I"m sure you could stitch this, Marly--tent stitches would be a breeze :)

I know I'll never, ever be able to stitch all I own, but just flipping through them gives me great pleasure and I'm happy to have them in my "collection!"
