Thank you all for the emails asking about my headaches. I thought there was improvement until yesterday. This morning we were informed of our lifelong and wonderful friend's death from an auto accident last night. Couching, sneezing, bending, turning, all bring on severe pain, and so does crying. Maybe that's why it's so bad today. No dizziness, no nausea, no light sensitivity. The pain traveled for four days but has settled on my right side and temple. If this continues, I will go to the hospital and hope a CT scan will be done. Thank you all for your concern.

So sorry my friend. Hope you get relief soon. Sad about your friend too.
We will be traveling down the hill tomorrow to celebrate with family and returning home Early Sunday morning. My reason for living closer to them ... as I dread freeway traveling, especially this time of year. Fortunately, no snow is forecasted for the pass, which is good as long as we are on the road, as I will welcome any snow that comes our way once we are home. Keep safe and get better ...
Merry Christmas to all, Barb
Marly, I'm so sorry for the tragic loss of your dear friend. I'm hoping your nasty headache clears up soon. Cheryl
Oh, Marly, I'm so sorry to read about your dear friend... what a shock that must have been. One never knows what lies around the corner, that's for sure.
I am concerned about your headache and really think you should go see someone as soon as possible. I had one for two days, this week, too--I often get them with barometric pressure changes and with the rains we've been having I'm sure that was the problem. Anyway, I hope your headache improves soon, but I am worried about you...
Very sorry for the loss of your friend, Marly. And the headache sounds concerning. Thinking of you and hoping you get some answers and relief very soon.
Marly, very sorry for the tragic loss of your friend.
From an experience I had, you may be describing a deep sinus infection. Don't hesitate to get it checked out. You are no baby concerning discomfort and this sounds down right painful.
I am very sorry for the loss of your friend...
as for your headache...it's lasting too long, please get it checked asap
Marly, so very sorry for the tragic loss of your friend. Please do get the headache checked out. Thinking of you and keeping you in my prayers.
I am so sorry to hear about your friend! What a shock for you!!!! I sure hope you feel better soon. What a time of year to have this "bad" stuff going on. I will keep you in my prayers!
Marly , my condolences on the loss of your long time close friend. Devastating. Please get your headache checked. It could be teeth, sinuses, stress, muscular, tension, eyes, grinding teeth! If it is the worse headache you have every had, head to ER.
I echo the plea of all our friends here....please have those headaches
checked out...Hopefully it is something that can be cleared up and resolved
with relative ease. Condolences on the loss of your close friend...a tragic
thing to experience at any time, but particularly during this time of the year.
Please take care of yourself.
Marly: I had the same kind of headache, it was a very bad sinus infection, the headache was terrible.
I am so sad you lost a friend, what a terrible time of year for this to happen.
Catherine
So very sorry that you've lost a good friend. Really good friends are hard to find now days. You have my deepest sympathy.
I wouldn't want to lose you, my good friend, so please see a doctor about your headache. No matter what it is, have it taken care of......want you to feel better for Christmas day. Love you and don't want you to be in pain.
This sure has been a year of ups and downs. Praying that 2019 will be a much better one for all of us.
Went to the cemetery yesterday with Jill to decorate John's and my Mom's grave.
Shortly after we got home there was torrential rain. After the rain stopped and the sun came out, right over our home was a humongous double rainbow. It was huge and so beautiful. Had never seen one like it.........ever.
A sure sign from the Heavens.
Take care and let us know how you are.
Love,
Charlotte in Va.
I just an MRI on brain & eyes.
I also had very severe headaches for about 2 months.
Everything turned out clear.
I was on pins & needles!
The docs think it could be from the flu shot I had.
I had a stronger version this year, also was very nauseated with it, and my arm was VERY painful for about a week.
Hope you feel better soon. Headaches are awful.
Sorry about your friend.
Marilyn
So very sorry for your loss. I am sure that definitely does not help your headache. I wish you better health in the near future.
I'm so very sorry for your loss and your continued headaches. Prayers continue for all. HUGS
My husband had a similar problem last week, but it involved the left side of his head, and a slightly drooping eyelid. After a CAT scan and an eye consult, it was determined that it was sinus related. Flonaze and Mucinex seem to have done the trick. Hope that you get relief soon; keeping you in my prayers.
So sorry to hear of the loss of your friend. May you find an answer about your head and feel better soon. Keeping you in my thoughts.
Oh Marly, I'm so so sorry to hear about your friend. And I'm also sorry to hear you are suffering so. I hope you start feeling better and a trip to the hospital isn't necessary. Lots of prayers and good thoughts for you. And hugs.
That sounds like a migraine. I would definitely go to the ER if you dont have any migraine medication. However you could try this: get in a bathtub with warm water (as warm as you can stand it) and put a frozen bag of peas on your neck. This redirects the blood flow and has worked for me several times. If you have Epsom salts add a couple of cups to your bath. Sometimes a magnesium deficiency causes headaches.Good luck! Hope you feel better soon
So sorry for the loss of your friend. i know how devastating that can be. your headache definitely sounds like migraine. prescription migraine meds would help abort the headache. BTW: it is not unusual to develop migraines later in life, even when never having had them before. mine started around age 40. best wishes for some relief soon.
Marly, my condolences on the loss of your friend. Please get your headaches checked out, do not wait. Doctor may help and won't you feel silly to go through that pain when meds could help. Take care
