My berries are bald

And I don't know if I can give them a worthy cap.  It doesn't fit as I expected, too much fabric, even though the berry is stuffed to bursting.  I guess I'll work it out but after those fricking little beads, I can barely see!!  And I may have sewn a few too close to the top.  So I'll wait until tomorrow to work on them and give my dried out eyes a break.  Which would also give the berries a second chance at life.  Their first chance expired an hour ago but they begged for mercy.

I agree with others....I've bought strawberries that were wonky-it's harder to find a picture perfect strawberry than a wonky one. Once the caps are applied they will look so different and I think you'll wonder what the fuss was about. I've been making lots of strawberries from quilting cotton. I finished one from Erica Michaels-my first x-stitch one and I have lots of her other x-stitch patterns. I also plan to do at least one in punch needle. I'm a bit addicted but can't work on them daily. The hardest part is trying to come up with different "toppings" because I don't want them all the same. Some I put my Irish Crochet Roses on and some are felted wool and some have yo-yo's.
