2. I do not want or need another stray to care for, but this pitiful big boy will not leave.
3. There is great improvement to my eyes. The extreme dryness seems to be breaking blood vessels? I get a bloody bump that feels like a thumb in my eye and then it breaks and there is relief. Stitching tonight!
And of no importance but I prefer even numbers...
4. I have been eating way too much chocolate.

1. I too am heartsick over the Amazon.
2. That stray has interesting markings and he senses someone with a soft heart.
3. So glad that there is improvement in your eyes. All I can say is "ouch".
4. I too love symmetry and chocolate, but as for the latter....I have to fit into a mother-of-the bride dress next month. I will pass on the chocolate. As a math teacher, I will embrace the symmetry.
Goodness, your eye looks so painful. I have extreme dry eyes also but no issues like you are having. I hope you do better. I just had a piece of chocolate!
Is there a rescue or a no-kill shelter that could help with the stray boy? We have really good groups in our area. Of course they get full a lot and can't take any more, which is heartbreaking. It's worth a try.
Oh my, hope your eye will be better soon.
Greetings from Germany, it's long ago.
He knows that he's found someone with a kind heart. Do you have cat rescue help that you can access, I know it's different over with you compared to the UK. Here we have local cat rescue centres that would help.
Hope your eyes will improve by now Marly!
Not fun that it hurts but there is always chocolate!
Did buy a big bar of chocolate just 15 minutes ago -lol - and I think it will not be there anymore this evening!
Take care!
Greetings Truus from Holland
That guy is darling! Last night we came home to a mamma kitty with four babies on our porch. We'd been seeing the mamma for almost a week but didn't realize she was a mommy or without a home. She must have thought that since we have good food on our porch it was a great place to bring her babies. They're about 5 weeks old and feral as can be. Fun times ahead catching these guys and mommy cat. We're aiming for this weekend.
Oh Marly, I am praying for you and your eyes. That cat looks very BIG! Will there be fights with your boys?
How I hope that your eye problem will resolve soon...you have suffered so long. And that stray is gorgeous....wish we were close by he could come to our home. Chocolate and coffee ......never too much! It just makes me smile from ear to ear. I hope you have a good day!!
The cat has quite the look to him with that big gray spot right on his nose. I see many suggestions about shelters, I hope ones in your area aren't like ours - always full, no help even with the ones that attacked our cats. Ones that mind their manners are, not exactly welcome but we let them stay, and spayed or neutered if we can catch them.
Is it the medication that's making broken blood vessels in your eyes? I'm glad they feel better, I must confess the bleeding is concerning. But I know you're working closely with doctors.
The amazon, lack of information on what needs done to retire, and other things.... I'd be better off if I had a bag of GOOD chocolate. A few pieces of GOOD chocolate might have kept me from eating the whole jar of peanut butter with chocolate chips last weekend :-(
That is a lovely looking, but huge? cat. Bless your heart for not ignoring him.
Continued prayers for all your issues... I thought, like Gail, that medication might
be the culprit with your eyes... Take care of yourself and relax awhile. Chocolate
a great tranquilizer..LOL.
While your eye looks very painful, I am thrilled to hear it is improving and you may get back to your stitching. Watching the Amazon destruction is hard to watch, especially as American farmers, we already have enough competition from that region, we need no more. Hope things continue to improve for you.
In regards to the Amazon, I think we should declare the entire Amazon basin a world heritage site. I can't believe the Brazilian president playing games and refusing $20 million (which is pitifully small) to fight these fires. The world needs to unite to send them a message!
Of course you don't want another stray. But I will tell you that this cat may be one that you end up NEEDING. So speaks the voice of experience and owner of 5 special former strays.
Glad you are getting some relief with your eye issues. My needle and thread have saved my life and sanity.
Sorry about the broken blood vessels, but relief is good.
That is one B-I-G boy!
