Over one is over! Thank goodness. I do have a few larger projects and I'm not sure if I want to attempt them for quite a while. Honestly, I'm surprised I finished this. Not quite yet, but the tiny sampler to attach should not be a problem at all.

Still debating if I should use a slightly darker shade of linen or the same as the sampler.
We now have a confirmed case in my county but they aren't releasing details. I suspect it may be a worker that came in contact with public and they don't want a panic. I got a call this morning to come in for the ultrasound review of last week's treatment, not another which was originally scheduled for today. They are shutting down but this follow up is necessary. My toe surgery was of course, also cancelled.
Two years ago when I was sanding the cedar siding, we bought masks to wear since cedar dust is harmful to lungs. I went to the basement to see how many are left and guess what? They are the N95.
Little Monkey Mona was enjoying yesterday's sun on top of the grain bin, but still gives me the stink eye.
I'm not going for the ultrasound until this afternoon so we'll get the nuts ground this morning and ready for the pan. It is very difficult to not eat this nutroll filling with a spoon while preparing. It is just so good. I told my podiatrist that a nutroll was designated for him at my Wednesday appt. He said everyone else is doing take-out, why aren't we. Rescheduled for April 22, he can thaw it out then.
Have a great day!! Stay safe everyone.

You have the patience of a saint.... I suggest a contrasting linen for the small sampler so it stands out... the same linen, except for raised texture, would be lost
in the whole....I think.
I am shocked you are still having your appointments Marly. We have no medical appointments unless they are REALLY necessary. Glad you have N95s. Wear them in public. We are. We have 32 cases in our county. 420 in our state. 5 deaths so far. It changes by the hour of course. Tomorrow all non-essential businesses must shut down. We have only been going out to get groceries. Be safe Marly.
I love that sampler. I hate doing over one also so I get how happy you were to have that done. So far, my cataract surgery has not been cancelled. It is in early April, who knows!
Stay save Marly!
I am surprised that you don't have cancelled all the surgery. Here in the Netherlands you have only an appointment when it is very urgent for gp and dentist and all the hospital as well.
The distance between people should be 1 1/2 meters between overyone and elderly people over the 70th have an hour early mornings for doing there shoppings. And you have to be alone when shopping not with the two of you together.
Love your sampler.
Greetings, Truus from Holland
My mother in law made the BEST nut roll and prune roll. I didn't care for the prune roll but that was my husband's favorite. I've never tried to make it - I'm a horrible baker.....maybe one day I will. Enjoy. Hope all goes well with the upcoming dr visits
Oh gosh I LOVE nut rolls! Hope you are doing ok, staying healthy (and sane) Marly!
Looks amazing Girl...Can't wait to see the entire piece in one photo...it must be incredible. I wonder if that wee sampler was intentional...and, if, not, what it was covered?? Flawed/torn linen? A really huge boo-boo? A change in names?? Perhaps that's a silly question and everyone knows the history but me... It's ok....I don't embarrass easily. We go on total lock-down tomorrow. (Our genteel state is calling it his "safer-at-home" order.) I was so bored I actually read the legalese...go figure...the practice of law is considered an "essential service" LMBO... Someone oughta frame it. Anyways...it's a strange new normal. I broke down yesterday and made a run to get pet food, as Chewy.com is in slow mode and running out of stock and I have finicky eaters. What a zoo!!! And, hmmm...me pets better stop being so picky because they're outta luck on their first choices...and second...and third. Heaven help us.....
