That fricking tree. To be fair, it was easier than the one above it, and I have more errors in the surrounding area than the fricking tree. The tree that has two shades of green (I put the extra strands in the wrong floss bag) and that's fine with me too. Nothing is aligned as the chart and no one can tell the difference. This is one wonky sampler. I found one chart error, and will study the original's photo in case I missed a motif somewhere. Finally moving on to the bottom border.
This is mine with red apples....
and here's the chart photo with pink ones.
I don't mind the pink. It melds with the soft motif colors and the tree's shape creates a focal point. Either color looks good, I'm happy with the red.
A finish is getting close!
Have a great day. Stay safe.

I think I prefer your red apples. I suspect if you stayed with the original color, the sampler might seem top heavy with all those leaves on the top tree?
I love your red apples. I agree with JustGail.
Doing laundry today.......did a little bit of digging of dandelions yesterday. Waiting for the 80s tomorrow.
Take care !

I like the red apples too!
This is stitching up just beautifully!!!
Marly, I think your sampler is just beautiful with the brighter colors. And, it's wonky, so no one knows if there are some mis-placed stitches. I'm so happy for you, that you are able to enjoy some stitching. Take care, Cherie in WI
Looking good...and this old teacher loves the red apples!

Simply love this sampler and if there are errors, I don't see any...too amazed by
your tenacity in doing this sampler with your eye condition. Can't keep a good gal down... Those are choice red apples.. more eye-catching than the pink. Have a good
day and take care....
I LOVE it red apples and all! Eve never would have been caved for a pink apple.
Your piece looks legitimately old timey sampler-y (not a word but you know what I mean right?)
Marly,
Your tree is gorgeous ~ as well as the whole sampler. Kudos to you for a job very well done. Can't wait for the finish.
I so enjoy seeing your progress on this wonderful needlework. It's so nice to see others making mistakes and having to pull threads......This is a great piece and so glad you're sharing your journey with us. Take care and be safe

Received package today. I'm not home yet but can't wait to open it! I think the tree looks pretty amazing myself. I would never be able to take on a sampler like that. It's fun going though this with you...at your expense of course. It's what we wimps do best. Here, YOU do it and I'll watch. Hugs.
Beautiful! I'm such a sucker for Adam & Eve samplers...even though I dislike strongly the Evil Serpents!
