Decision

After working with the photo I realized I would not be happy unless the vase was level with the opposite side and should be moved up.  Since I am a crabass, not being happy is part of my persona.  Why mess with perfection?  Extending the border over to the right edge is good enough.  The older I get, good enough is most times easier and more acceptable.

Got another row of the alpha done and one over one word.

Going to Carole's this afternoon and made the Peaches and Cream dessert (recipe here).

Ordered this through Home Depot and will let you know how it works.  Too many cats using the mulch and shrubs around the deck and on a hot humid day, not pleasant.  Great reviews for it so we'll see.

What the hell is wrong with blogger's photo uploads for posting?  Driving me nuts.

Have a great Sunday!!

That peach dessert looks heavenly and I laughed when I read on the recipe about storing the leftovers IF there are any!!!! lol I'm sure there NEVER ARE ANY LEFTOVERS!!!!

Oh, that pie is looking scrumptious, Marly! Thank you for sharing the recipe--it is definitely something my husband would love, too, and his birthday is coming up in just two weeks :)

Your sampler is coming along nicely. And you're so right, the older we get, the less we worry about perfect--surviving is enough :) Hope you enjoy these last few days of June--2020 is half over. Hope the second half is better for all ♥

Your stitching look great and that peach dessert looks so yummy. Your 1776 pillow pattern was featured on CraftGossip.com today. I've had it in my to do list for a while, just waiting for my stitching mojo to return from it's extended vacation. Take Care, Sandy

The peach dessert looks yummy. Hope the spray works on the smell of the big outdoor litter box. I think your sampler is looking awesome.

That peach dessert looks like the perfect Summer refresher. Your sampler balancing
was a wise move and it looks lovely. Good luck with the deodorizing outdoors...
Enjoy your time with Carole.

Definitely going to try out this pie- Yum! Do you ever substitute fresh peaches? and if so, do you know the quantity/conversion for them and any other adjustments needed ?? Thanks for the great looking recipe!
P.S. i totally agree about the baskets needing to be symmetrical- glad you corrected,,, er, changed the one :-)

JMO, but think you made a good call. The "compensation" is as close to perfect as one can get. (Note: I did not add "at our age" LOL.) That dessert looks fantastic (and, gee....relatively easy)...might have to give it a go even though I am not a huge peach fan. Cream cheese just makes me love almost everything LOL. Can't help you on the blogger photo upload issue....it's been a while since I've done a post. Oye! ~Robin~

Ii have changed a few things on my stitching lately to balance, I must be in the same boat as you are. Carol is a very lucky lady to have a sister like you! That peach desert looks out of sight!
