The eyes have it

This band is between two rows of eyelets, so it would look best in the same.  But I am so tempted to move from them and do rice or cross!  One more row after this and routine stitches follow.  Suck it up Flossy!

I also found an error in the large band, second section, of one omitted stitch.  I can frog to that error and move one stitch to the left which would correct the placement.  I am not.  I am not.  It's a repro, not perfect.  The far left foot of the A is not charted but I added it because as usual, was stitching from memory and not the chart.  Do not care.  HA!  What's happening to me?  Have I grown up finally at 69?  Or become more lazy?

My PTP Faun is coming today.  Still no inventory on others.  I have an idea, didn't work out details, but think it would be a help.  What if we purchased small linen pieces and divided it into samples, exchanged within groups?  For the 50 cent stamps to mail, $3.00 for six envelopes, and the price of linen, we could end up with small linen color samples that would be well worth the initial cost.  Groups would be by count and manufacturer, but how could this be organized?  Almost impossible with a large number of stitchers and options.  I still don't understand why shops don't offer something similar.

Hoping for some rain today, the lawn crunches when walked on.  I think we will have an early and wet fall.

Thanks for visiting, stay well, enjoy our last week of summer.

Sew happy to read that you are giving yourself some slack and just enjoying your creativity.

It drives me crazy that PTP doesn't even have samples for designers!! I have used their fabrics for my reproductions several times, but would use them even more if I had samples!! Everybody else has samples! Yes, they will send it and if you don't like it you can send it back and get something else, but that takes too much time.

I gave up a week ago and just pulled most of my bubblegum petunias out:)

Your stitching is looking great and you have personalized it. My plants have suffered as we have had very little rain. I couldn't water them enough and rain is better.

I am often frustrated as I can't see colors of linen on the computer. No LNS! I end up sticking with colors I know. Your idea is great. I have actually thought of just ordering lots of different ones in smallest sizes available, that would still get pricey!

I ordered some Dames of the Needle fabric from a store I shop at all the time on line back in April and still don't have the fabric. It's still on backorder. I ordered all my Blackbird designs and they won't ship until they have everything. I don't think I will order anything anymore unless I call the store and make sure the stuff is in stock. I had no idea that it would take so long to send stuff out. I can understand the fabric but I want my charts.

Ok....I beg to differ....it may be the last week of August, but I am holding fast to the fantasy that it is NOT the last week of summer (says one crabass to another.... ;-) ) Weather has been odd (along with the insects).... We got an inch and a quarter at the lake on Sunday, but not one stinking drop here in Nod....less than an hour away (and, yeah...I'm back. I know it gets confusing LOL). I like your linen sample club idea...but by the time I figured out which I like and for what I want to use it, it will likely be discontinued. Seems like I am years behind in the patterns I decide I like and want to do....only to find that the called for linen is retired. And I only sometimes get creative with backgrounds. Ok...with anything. There I said it. ~Robin~
