Good title for a book, no? It began with the pattern in the dress and rather than frog, I filled it in. I couldn't trust my blurriness to remove floss without also damaging linen threads. Because I don't pay attention, the dress was done before the basket, which made the basket smaller, and I moved it to the other side (she's right handed). I miscounted and the shoulders are now narrower. The birds were planned in dark gray but I decided to stop rather than end up with an unknown feathered shape. My eyes were pretty bad for two days and the chart is large and clear, but even through mags it was not for me. I can't do the small stitches on the face until things improve.
But I am still happy with her, she looks great, even though she is a compilation of changes to accommodate errors.

I would never know there were changes except that you told me. She looks wonderful. I hope your eyes are better soon.
She really is beautiful but even if she were “wonky” the needle work is precious since it is done by your hands and heart. I will keep hoping for new developments in a cure for Sjogren's syndrome.
Adorable, love her !

Your stitching looks great as always. I am jealous of the lady's trim waistline though!
What a sweet cross stitch!
Marly, she is so cute. I love how you improvise instead of "frog"! I need to take a lesson from you! I hope your eyes improve soon.
Take care......Cherie in WI

She is sweet
She is positively lovely!! I agree with Cheri (us Wisconsin girls gotta stick together you know)...You embrace your errors and manage to turn them into something better than it started out to be. Hope your eyes improve..... ~Robin~
