Guess who's getting a floss tag?

Carlie!  Since you are one of the few left that is not no-reply, I will be contacting you for your address.  Thanks everyone!  I'm still having issues with this new laptop so if you don't receive my request, please contact me.  For some reason, I have to enter the address because hitting the reply arrow sends it to nowhere land.  And you know I'm lazy so that ticks me off.

Mark is golfing and I had a day to putz around the house in quiet, but as I do every year, the History channel from morning to night had me sitting on the sofa.  Still am.  What happened to the millions of flags that were put on display in every neighborhood, and how we became one?  The respect and gratitude we had for the hundreds of first responders and officers that put their lives at risk to help others?  We have been told for years to not judge a group of people on the horrible actions of a few, yet that is exactly what those same people are doing now.

Yup....exactly. What a slap in the face that is... and a disgraceful spitting in the eye of what was once a glorious country and those who protect it. Anyways...congrats to Carrie!!! Happy Weekend ~Robin~

Totally agree, there used to be respect of others and pride in our Country. Now our first responders are being hurt/killed, businesses being destroyed, history being torn down and if those people do not like the USA then why the hell don't they leave? Oh, and I also love the History AND Discover channels.

It was called tradition … taught at home, in school and the general world around us
The patriotic spirit was diminished when those traditions no longer were transmitted through the great distractions called movies and TV. Shame on those who
don't own a flag or display it on days like 9/11/01 or 9/11/12.

As always your observations are spot on. Too much "me, me, me" mindset nowadays. Hope you enjoy the weekend.
