35 count Dolphin with a few color changes
The reds on the right are charted, my choices on the left.
I'm leaning toward the 3777 and 3830 but 22 is a gorgeous red on this dolphin. I would like to do the tiny matching needle roll on beige linen with the same reds and the bird in a blue-gray to match the dolphin.
Have I mentioned how I hate this new laptop? I transferred my contacts and many are missing so I have to keep referring to the flash drive. Those damn things are so little and easily misplaced. Have I also mentioned how I hate the new blogger format? Am I supposed to remove the links to the photos? I have been! Good grief why couldn't the changes be in increments. And what are all the icons in the gray bar at the bottom of the preview for? Too much clicking happening and what the hell is with the redirecting when I want to read someone's blog? I clicked on the link! If I didn't want to go there I wouldn't do that!
For those of you interested in Petey, he is bumping me with that big head constantly wanting scratched or pet, until I touch him. Then he draws blood with his dirty claws. He started doing this a few weeks ago and only does it when being pet. Right after the swat, he puts his head down and shoves it into me again. Doesn't matter if I scratch the top, side, back, ears, he swats. Hard and fast.
Even with a fresh nutroll bribe, I am having to continue with the boot and the pin stays for now. I really like him but should have kept a few shells in the nuts.

Ooooo...I like your little...and that dolphin linen!! The needle roll with the coloring you mentioned would be awesome! Yeah....new blogger.... Hmmmm....I do NOT like the redirect thing....thought it was just me. The tags??? Yeah....I think I noticed that if I click on my photos after posting, it shows what I originally named the photo. WTH?? And I never remember to remove them LOL. When you figure it out, lemme know. And yeah....I am loving your reds too. Can't explain Petey's behavior....but, then again, I can't explain even most people's behavior these days.....Yeah...you should have left some shells in. You bring me a nut roll and I promise I'll take that dang pin out. ~Robin~

Petey doesn't know how good he has it.
Can't understand why he is scratching you.
His dirty claws could cause an infection on your hand, thus maybe a tetanus shot ?
Had to have one when a dog we had bit my hand.
My right hand was very swollen.....I think it affected a nerve in my right fore finger.
Sheldon has a thing for biting......when he does I tell him NO BITING in a firm voice......maybe you could try that with Petey. NO SCRATCHING !

One thing I see about removing links - when they are removed, I can't select "open link in new tab" to view larger version. Sometimes I like (make that need) a larger version to see details in photos better - some days the eyes just aren't working as well as others. So true about memory sticks easy to lose, what about attaching a tassel, key chain fob, or similar?
Bummer on the pin staying in still. I hope not due to something that happened when you got new foot pains the other day.

I love the color of that fabric. I did want to say on Blogger, I have just returned to my blog and some of the links to "blogs I follow" are links to blogs that are not about stitching. Somehow people have entered blogs that are not something I can find on my widget list of blogs I follow but the link is definitely there when I click on the link. Something is messed up for sure with this new blogger. I ended up deleting that feature until I can get it figured out.
Marly: I like the colors you chose, to me it seems the colors the designer chose are to close to a Christmas red.
I am looking forward to seeing this finished.
I hate this new blogger sometimes I can post or comment, not always.

I like your colors. 3777 is my favorite red. I sub it a lot for other more bluish reds! That is such a delightful design!
I love the reds you chose! Petey sounds an awful lot like my Louis. As far as your laptop goes. I have one but hate it! I do most everything on my iPhone.
New blogger. ARGH!!! Still learning. I have no idea about that bar at the bottom of the preview. My font still keeps changing sizes.
You have come a long way with Petey but still have a ways to go!
Put some light tan muslin or other lightweight cotton fabric under the linen to keep the foam mount board from showing. It works!
