Why I got an A+

Found two larger ones at Agway, none were as large as previous years but we've had so little rain this summer it may be why.

No you can't actually see those errors, which is why I got an A+.

1.  I started one row down instead of two.
2.  One stitch has two threads on the left side and three on the right.  The stitch beneath was in turn one thread off as was the rest of the border.
3.  I aligned the rows to the border, not realizing it was off.
4.  I had to create a three thread stitch in the right border to line it up with the left (or remove the left), and then do the same at the bottom edges to lengthen them.  Otherwise, the border would have run into the body.  Since the first row was up one, that error actually helped.  It got to the point I was quite confused!!  Why was I too low if I was following the border error, and with the body starting one row higher?  WTH??

And there you have it!!  This would have been noticeable on 28 count but not on 40.  I checked placement on the spool to make sure the added rows would not create a problem.  They don't!

What's next?  Big or little?  One of each?

LOL... That sounds EXACTLY like what happened with the border on that little BBD drum pinkeep I did.... I kept "adjusting" until my head was spinning....and then realized the two edges of the mismatched border would be right next to each other when I sewed it together. And I said I. DON'T.CARE. I did finally find my original error...which was in the very first motif I did and from which I based and counted everything else....so I would have had to redo every single thing....and the fabric (ok "I") would not have survived that. You deserve that A+....me, I don't think I'd get a passing grade unless it's graded for its wonky "primitiveness" LOL. I vote one of each. ~Robin~

Marly, you would be the only one to know about all that. Honestly, it looked like an A+ to me! The misplaced stitches add to the primitive look we love so much. We have beautiful summer like weather in WI. I hope you do, too! Take care, Cherie in WI

If you didn't mention the errors nobody would have seen it!
I like this little sampler and will look great on the spool.
Your pumpkins are lovely at the porch.
Have a great day and stay save.

Marly: Beautiful front setting, I love the fall decorations, seeing the ornage is such a bright color.
I plan on making pumpkin soup, that is my fall favorite food.
Your Sampler is lovely, I do not see the mistakes, I think it is perfect.
Have a great day
