((💓)) Big time. I started having arrhythmia yesterday and after five hours, decided it was time for an ER visit. Afib is mixed in with skips and PVCs (premature ventricular contractions) and driving me nuts. I am so jittery from my chest and insides shaking that I can't successfully get that skinny needle in the correct hole all the time, so stitching is on hold until I have a steady hand. I was to be admitted but declined. The gentleman in the hall had just tested positive for Covid and I did not want to stay anyway. Now, I'm a little sorry I didn't. My doc appt isn't until Tuesday and I will try tomorrow for an earlier visit with another doctor office since there has been no break in the action. Not for a minute. So unnerving, a little scary, and four more days will be tough. Not sure what they can do but I need to find $600 to get back on Eliquis. If it gets worse, I will go back and stay. We were there well past midnight and I am tired and sleepy, but it's difficult to sleep when you fear what may happen during that time. I gotta wake up!!! I have to finish Elizabeth!!
Enjoy your weekend.

I hope you get to see another doctor quickly. Take care of yourself.
Marly, if you don't feel better go back to ER. Your doc will tell you to that and if you go to docs they may send you to hospital. Don't let Covid deter you, wear a mask, wash, distance. More people are running into issues that need to be treated but Covid holding them back.
Oh dear Marly, take care ! My stepmom had afib and I know how scary it can be. I hope you can get to a Dr. before next week.
Prayers for you and a restful night
Oh dear, that must be very frightening, I do hope it settles soon, maybe it's worry or stress that's causing it. Stay safe.
I am praying Marly.
Marly, you need to get checked out thoroughly.............DO NO WAIT ! That is what my late husband suffered with...........due to faulty valves. Better to be safe than sorry.
So sorry to hear this news. Please take care of yourself.
Love and hugs,
Charlotte in Va.
Prayers coming your way Marley. Take care of yourself.
Sending good thoughts and prayers your way.
Oh Marly! I hope you are doing better. Sending healing wishes your way. do take care.
Sending good thoughts your way that this passes soon.
Crap! Please go back to the hospital so they can zap you into rhythm. You know the risk of having a stroke. Please Marly. Also go to eliqus.bmcustomerconnect.com and look into their co-pay card which allows some to pay as little as a $10 co pay. It states that you ask your doctor for a free trial card that you activate on line . Maybe you know all this but maybe you don’t so .....
Hugs and prayers coming....happy thoughts for feeling better NOW and good news next week.
OK, the posting cardiac nurse here. Take thee to the hospital. The danger of a clot or a long run of premature beats is real. I know this. I deal with it as well. Go.
I totally agree with celkalee....as a former cardiac care nurse....exactly...the danger of a clot is way worse than a small chance of catching COVID...I'm surprised they gave you a choice....go back to the hospital, Marly...it could save your life....
Oh, dear Marly. I hope you take the advise of the nurses and get this checked out. I'm sending lots of thoughts and prayers your way and hope you feel better soon. Take care, Cherie in WI
Marly, I also want you to know I'm thinking of you and hope you can see a doctor before Tues. Others have told you to go back to the hospital and I have to agree. The hospital wouldn't have told you that you should stay if they didn't think it was serious.
Please let us know how you're doing.
Marly, so scary. life-threatening, and not something to mess around with. (Really,, If this was your sister, what would you be telling her??) Prayers that everything settles down and no harm is done. sending virtual hugs from Texas- please take good care.
I have Afib also and I hate it! It is a very scary thing! I’m an RN but that goes out the door when I’m in afib. I don’t think I will ever get used to it. I have been in it for hours and don’t like the idea of conversion. I’m considering an ablation. I’ll be thinking of you. Take care of yourself. Jan in WI
Are you crazy or what???! Scratch that...we know the answer to that.... But are you foolish or what??! (Yes, that's an edited version of what I first typed...) Get your BUTT into the hospital!!! I'm not a nurse, but I have I do have a doctorate degree (so what if it's a J.D. LOL)....Seriously, this is nothing to mess around with...even I know that. And think of all the people who look to you for support and help....most particularly your sister....and those fur kids...and us out here in blogland. I will be praying and hoping not only for thinks to get back to "normal," but also for common sense to descend upon you. Hugs & Healing Thoughts ~Robin~
My husband had afib/tachy for 2 years. Although on medication he had to make a few trips to the ER while having episodes. They tried conversion once and he did not go back into rhythm. They gave him a small injection of beta blocker and that worked while in the ER. He ultimately had an ablation 2.5 years ago and so far no trips to the ER! I agree you should ask your doctor whether or not an ablation might work for you. It is nothing to mess around with...take care of your heart! Linda in CA
Sending healing prayers and guardian angels to watch over you.
Big hug for you and go back to the hospital as soon as you can!!!
Truus from Holland
Marly: I am so sorry this is happening to you, I hope you are feeling better soon.

Please listen to those who love you and advise you to return to the hospital for care,
dear friend...Allow yourself to be convinced by the nurses and heed their advice. We'll
be praying you through and holding you up for healing mercies...Please take care....
Marly....GO to the HOSPITAL!!!!! Please!!! GO NOW!!!!
Not good news! Every case is different but I too suffer from PVC`s. Went to the ER a few years ago because my heart felt like a fish out of water flopping around on the pavement. Doctors had me wear a holter moniter, I had 68,000 PVC`s in a 24 hr period (2,000 is too much). Ablation was an option but we decided to go with meds first, I now take flecainide and metaprolol and that has seemed to do the trick. Personally I wouldn`t wait, I would go to the ER (right after you feed the brats.) Take care Marly.
I'm with anonymous. I also have A-fib a d sometimes atrial flutter. I used to go the the ER and they did a cardio version and that worked. Then I had a flutter and the CV stopped that but they said I should have a catheter ablation, which I did. Since then I've been on Metaprolol, and have Fleccanide in case I need it but everything has been fine, so far. Don't mess around with it.
Praying gor you.
Before you get on any drugs, try Magnesium 250mg and Potassium 99 mg. 2 times a day ... it's life changing. As we age, these tend to get depleted in our bodies. Such a simple fix. I thank God for the advise of a pharmacist friend.
Marly? I pray you are doing okay
Marly? How are you? Are you ok?
MARK, do you read Marly's blog? How is she?
I'm behind in my blog reading, so hoping by now things are better!!!
