and we will probably take a ride this afternoon. Mark is golfing tomorrow. I love him, but I so love my quiet alone time which is limited since he retired.
I love my XL Panera mug, but not so much Panera. Maybe others are better but mine usually gets an order wrong, even a bowl of soup is at times missing the pepitas or the baguette. My sandwich ingredients barely cover the bread, and my salad had one piece of avocado and mostly romaine ends. My sister has never had a problem with her orders. Mark bought the cookies. Good luck! Better grab them while you can buddy.
I have been searching our grocery stores and Walmart for many months trying to find Lysol spray. Eureka!! Spotted it and the little crates that are so great for small items in the cupboards or freezer. Guess what my family is getting for Christmas! We don't exchange gifts, but everyone can use this spray now for delivered items, the car, anywhere, and it has not been available here.
Carole's friends are getting better except for one still on a ventilator, two of Mark's have progressed to Covid pneumonia (still not being admitted to the hospital) and extended family members are improving. So Santa is bringing Lysol!!
Nit was in the house because Petey was on the deck and I didn't want to referee. After a while, I realized he wasn't in his usual spots. So I searched. And searched. NITZY!!! Little brat head was on my stitching supplies!! I've wanted this sofa recovered for over a year and procrastinated because I didn't know what style of fabric I wanted, and our only upholsterer is now retired. No one around to do this so I have to try to sell the sofa - Fakebook Marketplace? Not sure what to do.
My eyes have been so terribly dry and burning that stitching was again very limited. Almost finished with the green and then the next section is rust. Several errors but you'd never know.
I found two boots online at Kohl's for cheap and I got a 30% discount also. My great nephew is terribly hard on shoes, it's a waste to buy expensive.
Akademics Rugg and
Xray Heady are two that did not show up when I searched last week for men's boots and with so many others having limited stock, I was happy to find these.
Hope your week is going well and everyone is safe.
Thanks for visiting.

I have been searching everywhere for Lysol for almost a month now! Good for you!
I have been looking for Lysol since Spring. Found some at Walmart this week, did a happy dance in the aisle. Could only get one. They also had Lysol laundry sanitizer that they have been out of for a while. Luck of the draw.
Am stocking up on TP. Jill buys the Clorox wipes and we have Lysol spray cleaner.
Haven't had any problem with Panera. I love the harvest soup. Could eat it three times a day.
Kitties love to lay an things they shouldn't . Glad to see Nitzy resting comfortably. Bless his heart.
Things here could be better. No Covid, but Jim's teeth, Jill's weight and my knee and ankle are causing problems.
I hope all of your friends, friends and family will recuperate and be healthy for Christmas.
No exchanging of gifts here either this year.
Take care, stay well.
Thoughts and prayers,
Charlotte in Va.
I'll have to check if Lysol is available again here. Since plain soap and hot water is effective against covid, I haven't been too wound up about finding Lysol or similar. I did find 90% isopropyl alchohol a few weeks ago and snagged a bottle, along with aloe vera.
About Panera - maybe a letter (with photos?) to the owners, and to corporate is in order? The local managers and employees make a huge difference when it comes to chain stores, maybe the one you go to needs some reminders of quality control. If the local people don't care, maybe Panera would not be happy with the damage to their image this place is doing.
I may just be lucky too, I have 4 Paneras in my immediate area and I think that keeps them competitive. Tomato soup, that's me, oh and salads, all of them. Now, I'm hungry. Thanks. My Tuesday quilting group used to meet there every week after our gathering for lunch. Good times.
The darn Covid is such a black cloud over our lives. I pray your friends do recover soon. It seems the longer it goes on the more complicated it gets. Food banks are stressed. We noticed the distribution center in our area was so overwhelmed this week that they ran out of parking places. Their lot holds about 150 cars. We have a collection Sunday every month at church and we need at least 2 box trucks to transport the goods. Fortunately, we have online giving programs that those of us who choose can contribute. After the war, my Father talked little about the circumstances he endured but one thing for sure, he said he would never go hungry again and if possible would never let anyone he knew be hungry. I take that to heart.
Hmmm... my Panera is wonderful, Marly so it may just be yours. We don't go often, but when we do, the food is fresh and tasty. Had to laugh about treasuring your alone time! I've got an entire day home alone today--the first since my husband retired and, oh, does it feel wonderful. If only this warm bike-riding weather would continue I'd have more of those :)
Great find on the Lysol--I finally scored some sanitizing wipes on Amazon. The first I've found online since last March! And they weren't even price-inflated so I got the four-pack. The things that make us happy these days, right?!?!
Hmmm...yeah on the Panera thing.... I don't get much from there...usually stick with the tuna....but I have extreme variations in the amount of tuna used...and have had it so salty you could barely eat it (and trust me, I LOVE salt). Awww...sweet Nitzy.... No Lysol spray or wipes to be had here....ever since this whole S*#t Show started. I'd say this will make a fine gift indeed. ~Robin~
