For reasons too numerous to mention.
Bud is still thin and not eating enough, but he is trying his best and at times will get a half can of Fancy Feast down without bolting. Where's the pate? Everyone in the cat food aisle is complaining about the scarcity and wondering if the newer "stuffed" food at the higher price is replacing the old favorites. I found a vet that is willing to work with us and will be seeing her soon. Bud really enjoys lap time now. Nit and Missy still enjoy drawing my blood.
Dental visit tomorrow, haven't found a new office yet so this one tooth will probably be my stimulus check. We lost another two local businesses, and residents are questioning why our school is getting another almost 4 million in covid relief.
I am WAY off this week, thought it was Saturday. But honestly, does it matter? Apple fritters will be hitting the pan soon, I don't give a damn what day it is.

Well the dentist got most of our first stimulus check! No fun but at least it went into the economy not our savings! Plus my DH has a nice new crown!
Marly, Whatever -- day it is, we always look forward to hearing from you whether it's Mon, Tues, Wed, or Sat.
Hope you have some relief from tooth pain. Can't think of anything worse but have dealt with that too!
Hope the new vet can help with your kitty.
Glad you found a new vet. We get our cat food and litter from Chewy, love delivery. Good luck at Dentist.
So glad you found a vet that cares and is willing to work with you and Bud! We spent the first stimulus check on a leg amputation for our cat, Dexter. Nothing like spending the money locally. Dexter is doing fine and is thankfully out of pain. Good luck with your tooth, Marly!
Any day is a good day for apple fritters. The husband and I tore through an entire container of Sam's club apple fritters in just two days. We'll blame the cold weather and just leave it at that.
Good to hear you found a vet who is willing to help with Bud and good news too he is eating!
Hope it will all goes well with the dentist.
Take care and stay save.
Greetings, Truus from Holland
Am glad to hear a bit of good news about Bud. Have been thinking about him. I hope the new Vet will be a good one. I hope, I hope, I hope !
Apple fritters from McDonald's have been on the menu here.......quite a bit of delivery going on for breakfast, lunch and dinner due to my son.
Had Panera Harvest soup for birthday dinner. Love it ! Then coconut cake and ice cream.
I have to really think to figure out what day it is.......don't really care either, they all blend together.
Take care, stay well.

Even though I'm still going to work (physically, in an office) where you'd think I'd remember what day it was, the only thing that clues me in on the the real day is my stuffed-full weekly pill dispenser. That, and the local pizza parlor that I drive by that is only open Wed-Friday. If their "open" sign is on, there's hope that it's getting closer to the weekend. Lovely sampler, and lovely lucky kitties to have you caring for them.
I'm glad for both you and Bud that you're getting some lap time...and hopefully the new vet will be able to at least make him more comfortable. I now am giving Snowdog daily injections because he is impossible to pill. Two vets and their entire staff finally agree. My kitties don't like pate...and it usually all that was left on our shelves. I started ordering from Chewy and can't say enough good about them. Amazing customer service which we know is a rare commodity these days. I confess...I do live under a rock. I have never had apple fritters. Not even sure I would know one if I saw one. Happy whatever day it is. ~Robin~
Marly: You have your hands full, what a cute photo of the cat in the door of the house.
We feed Blondie the cat Iam's, that is the only food she can tolerate, expensive but she eats less and feels good for her age.
Poor Bud, I hope he continues to cuddle with you.
Have a great day.
Catherine
Those kitties are as bad as kids!
I'm having trouble finding pate cat food, too. My girls like Friskies, so when I can find it, I buy most of what is there. Hate to do that to other people, but what's a good cat mom to do?
