Everyone OK? Safe, warm, healthy? Balding and bitchy? It's all good. Especially when you order new gutchies (big girl panties). Could it be a year of staying home, or the fact that I'm older and boring, maybe the lack of shopping in person, that results in underwear bringing excitement to my life? Nope. It's the simple things, the comfort you feel when nothing is binding, riding, or digging. And coughing until you choke requires extra pairs. My front loading washer is huge and small loads don't move. Would be wonderful if I needed new because I lost fifteen pounds. Thirteen. A little over ten. Losing your appetite will certainly change the scale. But then your mood lifts, you have a few meals, and there ya go. Those pounds are back before the food hits your stomach.
So what's that have to do with wagon wheels? Not a damn thing. But as I struggled after removing more floss than adding it, my satin stitched apples (?) were horrible. I tried various stitches, but then decided to just find the center and go round, like an uneven overgrown eyelet. I am really pleased with the result. Using the same color as the house was quite boring so I changed to a brighter red.
Sweet!!
Have a good day and stay safe!!

Good morning ! Love your deer, apples and house. Keep going, want to see more.
Again, please take care of yourself. Let the other folks do for themselves for a while.
Stay warm, cozy and comfortable.
Thinking of you !

I'm tired of this stinking cold weather! But at least we didn't get ice, and we have power. I'm right beside you with crabbing why weight goes on so much faster than it comes off.
The Halloween sampler I'm working on - I think I jinxed myself thinking it would be easier after Statue of Liberty. No frequent color changes, no back stitching... It should be easier, right? There are mistakes that I've left after determining it would not throw off surrounding bits.
I like your changes to the apples, both color and stitch used.
Good Morning, Love that you are back to stitching a bit. I like the wagon wheels, could you have created a new stitch? I could never have a front load washer, to after the incident at the laundromat many years ago. What do you do when the washer stops and is still full of water! You sound good today , Stay well.
What fun fruit! Sorry to hear the weight is creeping back on. I suppose we knew that would happen.
Amazing how quickly weight comes back on :(
Love the way the apples turned out.
Marly, you sound much better today despite the snow and cold. It's pretty sad that buying new underwear is something to get excited about. But, that's the case here, too. I can't wait to actually go shopping again and spend some time looking, not run in and out! I just hope there are some stores left to shop in! (I'm already missing C&B). What is it that you're stitching on? I like it! I hope you feel better every day. Take care.....Cherie in WI
Love how the apples turned out. Anxious to hear how your test results turn out so you can move forward. Hugs.
Looks great to me!
Was so freaking cold coming home from work tonight - gloppy street, frigid wind, sloooooow walking with cane between building and garage and I simply could not get warm. Nearly four hours later and I'm just now thawing out. (getting old ain't any fun, ya know?)
Always love to see your progress, whatever the project - you stitch so much faster than me so your pieces *look* like something!
(gutchies that don't bind? sounds fantastic!)
Beautiful!
I love how you stitched the apples. We've had a lot of winter weather and have had to shovel out every day. Hope your test results are good.
Got some more snow this morning. Loved it! Safe and sound at home. Just finished a small, glazed apple pie. Soooo good. Bummer about putting the weight back on but look at it like this you're eating cause you're no longer as worried as you were. I'd take that over losing weight but worrying about what's wrong. I always pack on a few lbs. during the winter but I'll take it off when it warms up. Glad your mood is lifting :-)
Love how your apples turned out in this way.
Are they apples or are they flowers????
Happy to see you stitching again.
Take care and stay save.
Greetings, Truus from Holland
You always come up with a great fix. Looks great and I'll probably steal this idea too, as I do so many of your stitching changes. Take care - so look forward to your posts my friend.

Looks great, Marly! You always do come up with a fabulous fix. Was it you that showed the pattern for Merry Wind Farm’s “Girls in Blue Dresses?” Thought I saw it from your blog, liked it, and bought it. Wondering (if it was you), have you stitched it?
Glad to notice that you are sounding well and are back to stitching! Happy, so happy. Take care.
Very enticing fruit, so probably apples, but in my mind, they're pomegranates. They really turned out beautifully....Hey, maybe you coined a new stitch...the wagon wheel! Gutchies? I have never heard that word before...love it! Be safe and warm and stitch on ~Robin~
Your apples look great, Marly.
