If I had an old towel,

I would throw it in.  But I passed them on to the shelter and refuse to throw a new one.  No sense in having a hissy fit, bitch fest, or rabid rant.

So I'll show you how close I am to completing one side.  Margret is a sweet stitch when all else is sour.

Snow is gone, cement poured, seeded and strawed, now all we have to do is find $18520 to pay contractors and township for toilet privileges in my home.

Overlapped back gowns for sis came is, jersey is very nice but clingy, one woven will be returned (very stiff), and another is a lovely print but washing, ironing, spraying, steaming, will not remove these creases throughout the garment.  She is so miserable, pain has not lessened, no books movies or music are wanted.  No more treats or iced drinks are requested.  Eight weeks unable to move while in tremendous pain is taking a great mental and emotional toll.

Hoping Tuesday's call will give her some hope.

Take care of yourself, stay well.

Nothing like money literally down the drain. I remember when we built our house in 1974. The township was just extending sewer lines down the more rural, low inhabited roadways. Of course, you were assessed "frontage" on your property. Well, since our property was the last segment of the undeveloped area we had to pay the frontage on 7 acres of land. That was my entire savings for furniture, appliances, etc. I had empty rooms for years.

Your stitchery is so sweet. I admire your patience.

Your poor sister, such a difficult time for her, prayers.

I am so sorry for your trials and tribulations at present. I just wanted to suggest a way to get rid of the creases, I use this method with patchwork and cross stitch fabric. Get an old tea towel and wet it. wring out as much water as possible, it doesn't matter if it is damp but not dripping. Turn your iron on to no steam, put the garment on the ironing board, place the wet tea towel over it and press with the iron the creases will come out.. Hope this helps regards and very best wishes Robyn Sydney Australia

Margaret is lovely.
That is quite a hefty bill!!! So sorry you have to deal with that.
Poor Carole. She just can't catch a break. Hoping Tuesday's call will give her some answers.

Marly, Carol has been through so much. Throwing out ideas, have they mentioned any other pain options, like nerve blocks? I don't know a lot anymore about the adult world. You and your family has been going through it with her and you have been dealing with all your health issues. You don't need other issues like sewers to deal with. Sending cont. good thoughts your way. Sampler is lovely.

Sending prayers for healing for your family. Take care, Marly. Crisis fatigue is a possibility for you all. You have endured so much but you will prevail. I hope Tuesday brings answers.

I thought that sewer bill you posted was a typo, read it three times before I realized it wasn`t 2K, it was almost 20K! I would be furious and frustrated to say the least but of course you have bigger problems to deal with. Hate to sound like a broken record but my heart goes out to you, Carole, Mark and your entire family. You have been dealing with your own health issues for such a long time and now poor Carole is in such a bad way...if my good thoughts and prayers could change things you would all be in tip top shape but unfortunately that`s all I can offer. Take whatever pleasure you can from simple things and pamper yourself whenever you are able. SISU is a Finnish word meaning determination, tenacity, perseverance and grit and you certainly have it, praying you get thru these tough times and better ones are ahead.

I would think there would be a way that the money for sewerage could be paid in your real estate taxes some how. How about a home equity loan for the amount. I know that sounds ridiculous, insane and outrageous. Hate for you to have to move from your home.
God bless you for your unconditional love and support for Carole and your family.
Be well.
Sending love, prayers and hugs,
Charlotte in Va.

try a white vinegar spray and then iron; see if that takes out the creases!

yes, that's what we we able to do with our water hook up: was added to our property tax

love to you all and prayers too!

I'd try the white vinegar on creases. It's been recommended to remove hemline creases for years, so there must be something to it? Wow nearly 20K for the sewer work!? ugh - no wonder you say you need to get out of there. Is it all finished, or is there still more work to come to connect to your house? Your earlier comments about bulldozing things have me wondering. Sorry Carole is so so miserable, hope the Tuesday thing has a bit good news.

The sampler is looking great! ((( hugs )))

Margaret is very pretty, wow that is some toilet bill. I remember paying for toilet privileges in a department store when I was young. Now you all know I am really old. Sending good thoughts your way pass on to Carole.

My-o-my....what next? Praying for solutions for Carole on Tuesday and hopefully some
emotional relief for you. Perhaps some of her interests can be restored with an effective pain program. She has endured so much. Can understand your enjoyment of that lovely sampler..quite unique. That sewer bill reels the senses, Marly, and perhaps the
suggestions given by others can be implemented...anything to soften the blow. Continued
prayers for Carole, you and Mark and Family. Stay SISU....
