Nothing good to report so I won't.
***************
Visited the Amish on the return trip from the Clinic (she was kept), Carole requested her Vista Bubblegum and I am trying the recent color addition to the Vista line, Paradise. It's raining so not a good photo. She wants six ferns and I need a few, haven't found the rock bottom price offer this year. We may go this weekend, free Amish donuts at one nursery that were the best I ever had in my life. I can't identify the hint of flavoring used, nor can I bribe them to spill the secret.
More pink/coral than the Fuchsia, but probably will not be as prolific and massive as the Silverberry and Bubblegum. But I don't really give a pink petal what they do. No date on the sewer excavating, no plan for restoration of the back area. Nor the money. This summer will not be leisurely or pleasant, and will probably pass as swiftly as spring has. Chilly, possible frost, very cool nights all next week. Please Nitzy, do not spray our flowers
Losing another molar, the third, because of a dental hygienist that failed to recommend perio surgery during my twelve years with her. She is still in that office, arrogant and unapologetic. A root canal in another is also needed, can't schedule until we know more from the Clinic on Monday. But I will suffer through that donut tomorrow, my Anbesol tube in pocket.
Have a nice weekend.

Possibly almond extract? I LOVE a good mystery! And all the tasting it takes to solve it!
Flowers and donuts!! I know life has been gloomy and frustrating in your neighborhood lately - but so glad you had a couple of bright spots.
You and yours are in my thoughts and prayers.
Leslie who is still not a Robot
Fabulous flowers! AND donuts! :) Sorry about your teeth.
Marly: Beautiful flowers, frost here also I had to cover flowers.

You go right ahead and glom that doughnut, Marly....you have earned the treat if anyone
has. The flowers are beautiful and I hope your visit to the Amish farm garners you all
the others you are seeking. Please God, may you get good news on Carole and some hope for her recovery. Spread the word about that hygienist; after so long, she should be held accountable...Lord knows how many others she has condemned to pain and expense.
Happy Mothers' Day and have a lovely weekend.
Love the flowers you bought and do hope you will succeed with the others with the Amish nursery.
Bought some too yesterday with a delicate soft pink and in the heart some darker pink.
Had also such kind of hygienist and I refused the treatment and after that had never problems with my mouth!
Take care, still sending prayers for all of you,and a big hug.

So glad you got your Bubble gum petunias. I know they are your favorites.
Wish you had a dozen of the donuts to enjoy.
I am going to have to make an appointment with a new (never seen before) dentist. Have been lax in seeing one......I know I have some cavities. UGH
I hope Nitzy will behave around your flowers.
Have a good weekend.

You got some gorgeous petunias. I should get to the farm store and greenhouse before it's too picked over. OTOH, we are back to cool weather until mid-late this week again, so I'd need to try and keep them alive. It's good that Carole is interested in enough things that she wants flowers for her house. I'm not even going to guess at the donut flavor, enjoy the bejeebers out of it. Stinks about the molar and the hygienist. (((hugs)))
You always find the best hanging baskets!
If it wasn't for bad luck, you would have no luck at all. So sorry about the dental issues.
Years ago -- probably close to 100 now -- my grandmother got some recipes from an Amish neighbor in Pennsylvania. She apparently used cardamom in a lot of dishes, which has become my favorite spice. Maybe that's what you are tasting. It's very subtle. I agree with JustGail's comment that Carole's interest in the flowers seems like a good sign. As to the dental issues, I had a similar situation, except it was the periodontist who was supposed to be making things better in my mouth. He didn't and I am the one who has paid over the years, so you have my sympathies.
Marly, you always have the most beautiful flowers! I agree that the fact that your sister is interested is getting flowers for her home is a good sign. I hope things start looking up for you both.
Sorry to hear about your teeth problems. When I was a kid I had my teeth filled by a very sweet dentist, but one who didn’t use novicaine. Needless to say, he would stop drilling when you would flinch and fill without getting all the decay out. You can imagine the rest of that story!
