The beautiful green wasn't working for me with the 500's. After removing half of the floss bags from their box, I think that series will be good even though I'm tired of it. So I chose new greens that go very nicely with the teals, less yellow and very complimentary. You can see the difference compared to the green stitching in the border. Should not matter at all in a sampler but you know I have a phobia regarding color.
Changed a few others for this linen background, and we're good to go.
Wait a minute. That doesn't look so bad with the 3346 does it?
Good grief I have a problem don't I?
Thanks for the birthday wishes!

Your sewer project expenses sound like a nightmare!
Those yellow petunias are so sweet. The bubblegum petunias that you have raved about for years are totally awesome! Growing like crazy. I never would have bought them had you not blogged about them. Thank you!
Whatever colors you choose for the sampler will be perfect!
A phobia? A problem? Nahhh...I say you have a gift.
Whatever you decide on, it will be beautiful, Marly! Cherie in WI
Well Happy Birthday Marly!
You sure do. A big one.
Well both green colors are looking good to me. It depends what you want -- a more traditional or a more modern look for your sampler.
Wish you good luck with choosing the right color for you.
Take care and stay save and lots of love.
Big hug,Truus from Holland
You are a color expert.....I'm NOT. I don't seem to see colors and am not so good at choosing alternatives. I'm trying and hope will improve - thanks to you.
WELCOME to the 70 club! I beat you but am so glad to have you join.
Take care, be safe and hope family is doing better - wishing you all comfort, happiness and calm for the rest of the summer.
I have a problem about changing colors. The ones I pick don't look right so I just usually go with the ones mentioned for the chart.
Sometimes I think, what would Marly use ?
We're having a nice cool day today. Back to heat later this week.
Enjoy stitching..........very pretty colors.

No, you don't have a color problem. You simply know what you like, and want, in color. I like your color choices for this sampler.
Marly: Beautiful choices, I am looking forward to seeing this finished.
I hope all is getting better for you and Carole.

Greens are always an issue for me, too, Marly. I've never been crazy about the 500 greens for some reason. I love how all the colors look together in your first photo :)
