So after Carole goes through upper and lower GI testing Thursday and any issues found resolved during, she may be coming back this weekend. In a month, she will schedule surgery for amputation. They all agree that even though blood flow was restored, well, I'm not a vascular doctor and don't understand. They said she is too ill with her weak heart and other problems to correct the right, but OK to do major surgery? There will be many many many future trips to see docs there and we're hoping the right will not need to be removed also. If they would not have waited so long for the left, it would have been saved. I hope that is not the case with the right but they refuse to attempt, even with her request. Today's nurse asked why I'm not visiting. Well, I can't pull off the road every 15 minutes to add drops to my eyes during an almost two hour drive, the ER visit before transfer to CC caused a problem because they could not calm her down after I left, and if not in danger I would prefer to spend the few thousand for the hotel room during the surgery.
I've had so much spam including porn come to me with my gmail that is linked to my blog, nothing on my other email addresses so it is from Google. At the same time there was also $430 to GoFundMe ???? and several subscription services around $20 a month that I never ordered on the card I use online, had to close my credit cards. I won't mention who GoFundMe was for but I can say a hateful non worthy cause. All fraud charges were refunded, but when it's coming from several sources, no choice but to shut it down.

About a year ago I had porn stars invade my blog to sell their wares. Oh my, what a disaster that was, it took 6 months and all sorts of changes etc. to stop it. Our lives are at the mercy of the weirdo's!

Sad news for Carole...I cannot imagine how terrifying it must be to be told you are going to lose a limb. My heart goes out to her. Love, love, love the Christmas strawberries. And don't get me started on the spammers, frauders and complete low lives out there. A month or so ago I woke up to purchase receipts from Hollister in California and several other stores....and an email inbox FILLED and overflowing with subscription confirmations to every single federal agency and every Arizona state agency and department. It took several weeks to clear out the subscriptions (and I still get some from Maricopa County and the Dept of Immigration and Naturalization)...and hours on the phone with Paypal, credit card companies and the vendors canceling orders, etc. A complete and utter nightmare. I have my card set up that anytime something is charged to my credit card that is more than $1.00 my phone dings. I then can call the cc company and put a stop to it right away if I find that my card has been hacked again. My CC card number has been hacked twice and this feature saved the me and CC company from a lot more headaches.

A big reason I hate ordering on line is because of theft. Not that buying in person on a card is safe either - once the companies have your info in their system, still not in the clear.
I don't understand either how repairing the leg couldn't be done, but amputation is OK? All I can think of is repair might require being under anesthesia longer. Why do the nurses assume anyone who's been the support crew and scheduler for a patient can drop all and be there in minutes and constantly, not to mention the financial implications if travel is required? When I told sister's hospice I live 9 hours away, no I can't go stay with her for weeks... there was a second of silence,
