A bunch of useless photos

Because I feel useless.  Like there is nothing to do but look around.  And I see a nice looking flower with mud beneath it, but it can still glow.  Another doing well because it is fertilized, and getting what it needs to thrive.  One weak outcast experienced a comeback from being diminished to a few stems to now almost impenetrable.  Brilliant color without a blossom, usually very long and thin, this year shorter and solid, a mass of unity.  Against the very dark dwelling, white is a stark contrast, but it doesn't look cheerful, uplifting, joyous, inviting.  But a short distance behind it hidden from view, is brightness, resilience, tenacity, and a whole lot of mud.

Wow.  I'm in a mood aren't I?

The heavy rain pulls you down, but your limb doesn't break.

And when you are filled and ready to overflow,
poke a few holes and release the weight.

It ain't over yet, more to come.

Marly, you have every right to have a “mood”! Hopefully, it’ll dry out by you and the flowers have a chance to recover. Although they don’t look so bad. We had 5 inches of rain last week, in just a few hours, and my flowers took a beating. But, they’ve recovered nicely with a shot of fertilizer! I’ve planted a tub of your bubblegum petunias, and a wash tub with a mix of paradise and is it, silverberry? Anyway, thank you for sharing these with us. They are just beautiful!!
I hope things go as well as they can for Carole tomorrow. Take care....

Your flowers are lovely, Marly. Thank God for small favors.
Life sure isn't easy, we ALL have crosses to bare.
Pitch a fit, cry, stomp your feet, say bad words, throw things, do whatever you have to do to get through the day.
Thinking of you and praying,
Hugs,

Useless photos? Nah! Enjoyed seeing them especially since I live in the brown desert southwest! Green, any shade, became my favorite color since moving here as it is sorely lacking. Brown everywhere, including parts of our lawn. And, you have inspired me to pick up cross stitching again. Have a better day today! You made my morning!

Sounds like you're speaking my language girl.... I sooo get it. Your blooms are breathtakingly beautiful...through anyone's eyes. Sometimes the subdue-ness of white soothes the soul in ways vibrant and happy can never do. Your eyes...though dry and scratchy and averse to light have an extraordinary gift of sight when it comes to your landscaping and gardening touches. And I am so in love in the color of your house...more so I think every time I see it. You need to share your uselessness with us much more often. ~Robin~
