Trees!

One of the elements that I love about this sampler.  Not as confusing to follow as I thought once I studied the chart.  Every other vertical row is solid flanked by the same color on every other vertical stitch.  I started horizontal and had a hard time as usual so decided to use a marker, which showed the easier vertical pattern to follow.

The right side is much easier with more contrast in colors, but still the same vertical method is less counting.

The pacemaker surgeon and also the vascular surgeon offices were to call Wednesday with appointments, but did not.  So today, Friday, I will call again.  The Medicaid office called early and another extremely pleasant worker explained the process and said there should not be a problem, and it may be resolved before the hearing.  She is the only one working today, the woman I spoke with a few days ago was off, I am glad they have the integrity to do their job and that of their entitled co-workers.

I ordered linen including some 40 count, trying PTP Ale and hope I like it.  I also have two Brightech smaller floor mag lights coming.   Because of my sensitivity to light, I think a flexible gooseneck can be positioned lower than my Dazor and LED is not as irritating as fluorescent.  If I pull the Dazor lower than eye level, I can't seem to twist the lighted end into a comfortable viewing position.

Have a good day!

I plan to hopefully enjoy warm sun today while sitting on my butt outside.

You're Rachel is looking great. It makes me wish I started it for my parents for Christmas but didn't think I had the time to finish it. Maybe I will start it anyway.

I've been using a Brightech floor lamp for years. I like it much better than all the others I've tried because the head is way less bulky than others and I find it easier to use in different sitting positions and different chairs. I hope you like yours!

Please show us a photo of the lamps you ordered and tell us how you like them (? what will you do with 2??) I use a castoff "Mighty Bright" from my SIL and I like it a lot... the flexible gooseneck gives me...well, a lot of flexibility. It has several scratches though so I may need to invest in a new one. Everyone speaks so highly of Dazors but, frankly, I don't think I have the room for one in my teeny tiny space and think will be too cumbersome to try to move as I cannot sit in one position for very long....my little lightweight Mighty Bright is easily repositioned. ~Robin~

So glad to hear that the medic worker you have spoken to was a pleasant one and she could explain to you you what the problems are.
Your stitching looks great and I like to know what kind of lamps you are using.
Enjoy the sunshine and your stitching.
Have a pleasant weekend,Truus from Holland

I hope the Carole's medicaid application is straightened out soon, nice that you've gotten some pleasant workers. The sampler is looking good, and I hope those lights work out - I may need to do something different myself.
