Before the covid diagnosis we stopped in Kraynak's to see this years offerings, and they had a fake feather style with reasonably stiff branches. The top branch is shorter than it should be IMHO. Price wasn't bad and it comes in two sizes. Not a lot of photos this time but if you'd like to see more of this Christmas land store, click on this post from 2017..... Kraynak's
I hope they have a few of these large bells left when I'm out of quarantine. I think they were $16 each. The post from 2017 shows a nice assortment of wire tree styles but there were none on display this year. Yet. But they may not be getting any, who knows.
She is quite rattled that I may not be cleared to enter the hospital for her surgery. Bad enough her birthday will be lonely. I was going to make our traditional chocolate chip chiffon cake but that would require flatware and plates. Cupcakes! Pistachio, chocolate, pineapple if we can get what I need curbside. I need to check with her facility about drop off permission. Quite a few staff members have become friends and she can share with them, they will be happy to take her gifts up to her. We'll wear gloves and masks and hopefully the scent of Lysol will fade by the time everything gets to her room.
Have a good one!

Hoping you get your test results quickly. Wishing you the best.
Antibodies treatment?
Ok did some reading. The article I read stated you have 10 days after symptoms start to get this treatment. Guess not at your clinic.
I hope they are more on top of getting results to you than they were for Mark! Also hope Carole's surgery goes ahead as planned even if you can't be there. I don't see how postponing it yet again with her legs in that condition can be doing her any good. But still nice to have a friendly face to wake up to after. Do rules allow for Chris to go instead?
Hope your test result was that you don't have any symptons of covid!! And it is just flu!
Do hope too that you can get Carole her Birthday cake and the surgery is going to be happen.
Take care and a big hug. Still sending prayers for you all!

I'm all in for cupcakes...when's the party? Pistachio? Chocolate? Pineapple?? All in the same cupcake??? Or are we talking about 3 separate kinds? I TOTALLY get the pistachio chocolate thing - One of my favorite cookies I made back when I crazy baked for Christmas was a pistachio shortbread...with one end dipped in chocolate. Drooling even now. But I'm trying to wrap my head around the pineapple. I do love pineapple though so, like I said...pass the cupcakes! ~Robin~ (Will be hoping for the best on all fronts...but you already know that I think.)
Well..you're lucky you only had to wait a couple of hours...my daughter had to wait for six days to get a result...and in the interim...almost died from PCP pneumonia at home after the ER told her to go home and quarantine just "in case" she had Covid. Her Covid test was negative but she spent four weeks in a hospital (a different, highly repectable hospital)...two weeks of them being in the intensive care unit on Bi-pap. The infectious disease doc told me if she had waited one more day, she would've died). This Covid testing is for the birds...Hospitals and clinics need to get it together..it's ridiculus that people have to wait for hours or days to get a result. I'm glad you're asymptomatic & pray that your test comes back negative..take care..
