My husband's doctor called this morning on his way to church and asked Mark how he was feeling, that he would call him from the office with a plan Monday. Plan for what? Dr. said .... the lab did not call to tell you that you have Covid? NO. He has allergies that flare when blowing leaves or cutting grass, even with medication, and that's what he assumed his cold like symptoms were from. But worse today. My cousin can't stop coughing even with meds and is getting the monoclonals today. Both vaxed for several months thank goodness, but of course, I am not.
If you are vaxed and exposed to Covid, quarantine is 10 days. If you are not vaxed and exposed to covid, quarantine is 14 days. Carole's surgery is in 12 days. We tested Thursday, I was negative (Mark did not get results) but not exposed to it as long as Mark was so his doctor recommended I test again next week, symptoms or not. Because of the upcoming surgery and being out of town, I don't know what will happen when I test again. I honestly can't see how it would not be spread to me, in the car, sharing meals, sleeping together. So I expect it. Mark took his temperature several times a day since he was exposed last weekend and even through yesterday, never came close to a fever. That is the test given everywhere before entering, we assumed it was the definitive guideline. Nope.
I will be selling a 12" Riley Blake still sealed wooden clapper. I bought two sizes, do not need this long one. When I look at pricing and shipping, I'll post if anyone is interested.

Please hang in there and take care of yourself and your husband. I hope you both get through this and recover as swiftly as possible.
Praying for you and Mark.

Yikes. Sorry to read the news. Fingers crossed and prayers being said. ~Robin~
I am so sorry Marly. Yes, I assume you will be testing positive shortly. Jacob told us early in the pandemic there is no way to safely quarantine in the same household. Take excellent care of yourselves. I am praying for you all.
Marly, there is some hope for you. Two of my sisters were positive and their spouses didn’t get it. One sister, along with their teenage son, had it before vaccines were available. The other just tested positive in the last few weeks. They were both vaccinated. Too bad they can’t get test results out earlier. I’m keeping my fingers crossed for you, too. Take care, Cherie in WI
You are weathering this better than I would! thinking positive for all.
So sorry for Mark!
I heard here in the Netherlands that some results can give a wrong diagnose so you don't have covid although the test is saying you have covid.
Perhaps with another test Mark is not ill.
Praying that you can both go to Carole when she need you.
Sending lots of love, prayers and a big hug, Truus from Holland
Sorry about Mark's having covid (if test is correct). I hope you have avoided it - as others said it is possible to live with someone and not catch it. My DS had a mild case last November and his SO did not catch it. I SO hope you don't come down with it, and that the quarantine for you and Mark doesn't derail Carole's surgery.
From prior posts - I like your idea of flipping and printing a chart to get mirror image without chance of errors drafting it out. And thank you for posting your recipe site - lots of good things on it!
Oh my goodness, take care of yourself. I am so sorry that you have this worry added on to everything else that you are dealing with. Hugs and prayers.
Sorry to hear all what is going on. I had family in this weekend to celebrate and then I got sick with the virus/stomach flu and my granddaughter asked if I would host a birthday party for her (how can you say no) we had to cancel and my husband took all the food to another location and they had a good time and she was grateful.
