This afternoon

My husband will put me in the transport chair to a doctor.  I can't even stand long enough to wipe my face or brush my teeth.  Several hospital trips, two EMT home visits, inability to stand, walk, or speak loudly enough.  It will take a very long time to recover, but the main issue is the change to my heart and trying to regain a safe rhythm.  Thank God for my devoted and caregiving husband.

Well dang you've been through it this past year or more haven't you? So sorry, and I hope you're feeling better, although it might be awhile before you can say that, you will get better. You're tough and I know you'll be okay in the end but this thing is crazy so you must take it seriously. How is Carole? Praying for her, you and your husband.

That bit about your heart is... less than optimal. I hope you get started on the mending path very soon. And that Mark stays healthy. I also hope Carole is recovering well so Mark isn't being scrambled in too many directions.

So sorry for what you are going through, especially on top of all you've had to face with your sister's health issues. I don't know if what I am going to add will be any help, but I'll just put it out there. In January of 2020, before Covid was known here in the U.S., I had ten days of fever and chills, taste and smell issues, headaches and body aches and a couple of fainting spells. After two trips to the ER, I was told I had "some kind of an unidentified virus", then after the 9th day I started to recover, except I'd developed an atrial flutter. I have been dealing with Atrial Fibrillation for a number of years, but the flutter is another matter. I also was having a problem with my blood clotting but after six weeks of fiddling with Warfarin adjustments the cardiologist decided it would be safe to perform a cardioversion to stop the flutter which had left me weak and lethargic. It worked and I have been flutter free. So, while we may not have had the same thing, don't give up hope. Along with all your other friends and followers I, too, am praying for a speedy recovery for you.

Dear Marley...sending words of encouragement to you as you continue to fight this crazy virus. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers, and though you've haven't experienced the quick recovery I was hoping for, I have faith that a complete recovery is to come. You've been an inspiration to me as you have been so devoted to not only your cross stitching fans but especially to your family. Blessings to you and Mark and hope to hear with your next post that things are looking brighter.
