Boom part two.

Finally.  After two major changes and two major frogging sessions, boom.  Done.  The first time, narrowed the lower case letters to one space between instead of the two I originally stitched.  It didn't look proper compared to the tighter letter placement above it.  That change was a real improvement.

The next frog removed the second row.  Rachel's God save America was in this section and I thought using her words would be a better option than my numeric section, so ... adios.  Her words were done in black since that was the original color, and it helped balance the black in the corners.  Using capital letters required removal of the single row of dark green completing the outline of the center section.  Removing the bottom blue row and inserting the green again is not necessary.

Hope to finish that left corner and find a cow.  And I can say that I will not do another that has this much over one.  The two corners would be my limit, but the revamped section plus the beast, bird, and berries are weighing on my mind.

I always read and study sampler charts/instructions when first received, but Rachel was many years ago and I failed to repeat.  Just like failing to recognize the rice stitch areas, but I would have caught that had the chart showed them differently.

No sun on the snow but the glare coming in the windows is very very disturbing and I am having more difficulty with my eyes today.  But this evening, I will work on that fricking corner.

And if your medication, supplies, various items on trains never arrive .....

Have a good one.

Perfect work-arounds!! I had no doubt LOL...but am very glad you kept the "God Save America" part. So apropos for our country right now - all one has to do is look at those disgusting photos of the train "robbery" debris. If/when those low lives are caught they should be sentenced to a life time of picking up garbage in every free minute of their lives (and, of course, making them actually EARN a living rather than be a parasite on society). If you'd like, I can tell you what I really think sometime. 🤣 ~Robin~

The one thing I hate about a snow day is the glare you get off the snow. I don't like that at all. What those lowlifes are doing to those packages in LA is absolutely disgusting and makes me sick to my stomach. How about get a job? I hear there are plenty of them out there. Makes me so mad! Have a good one!

The only surprise about those thefts & destruction is that it took so long to get on the news. It's been going on for a long time. As many thieving basta.... thugs it would take to do that much damage in a couple of days, that would have made the news right away, like those gangs trashing stores did. But I guess stores with shiny trinkets have better publicity teams that industrial sites full of train cars waiting for a way to be delivered.

Rachel is looking good! I hope you find a suitable cow to add to it.

I abhor violence, but if a few broken legs left them unable to cowardly walk away from the destruction they create, causing them years of being too handicapped to loot, second thoughts about ever committing crime might surface in their feeble brains.
They evidently don't subscribe to the Ten Commandments....
Apologies for the unladylike rant....

I'll shy from ranting and just agree with all others. Your stitching is a delight to see Marly. I love it and I'm glad you put in "God Save America" - very appropriate. We didn't get snow earlier in the week, but now the forecast is for 1-3" tomorrow. Not much, but enough to make it ugly. How about you? Are you expecting more? I hope not...

Marly: It's really a shame how liberal the laws have become with criminals, commit a crime get your hands slapped, I long for the days when a victim had more rights over the criminal, now it's the victim's fault, it's a crying shame.
Heritage Hall I feel the same as you.
Your Sampler is a beauty but having to frog would drive me up a wall, you have done a wonderful job of handling the frogging, I envy you for that.

Have a beautiful day
