Rolling along

on a sweet cheese Nalesniki kind of day.  A short time before serving from the oven, we top with sour cream and a sprinkle of sugar.

Terrible storm last night.  I move my flowers under the swings when heavy rain is predicted, but the wind actually knocked a few over.  My Grabber Buddy helped with the loads of fallen branches.

Sending a few crepes and other goodies to Carole along with some laundry.  Chris and Matt are taking it all up today for their visit.  This was one of the hankies being pressed, we love this black edging against the colors.  Wouldn't this make a great sampler border?  Pastels outlined with black is not in a design I remember seeing but that doesn't mean there isn't one.

Hope your week gets off to a good start.  Mine starts in the dental chair finally.

Be well, stay safe!

Yum! Wish I could come to your house to help eat those goodies.
The border on the hankie is really pretty and I'm sure Carole will love having it.
Hope all goes well in the dentist's chair.
Thinking of you.

Those look so tasty, Marly, and I know Carole will love them! That really was a crazy storm last night--no rain here, just terrible winds and lots of branches down. It's getting darker by the minute right now so I think rain is on it's way. Sure would love an entire week of sunny, warm, non-humid days...

Oh, those Nalesniki look so yummy!
We got heavy rains and storms, too, and I discovered water in my basement where I've never had it before. ARGH! The joys of home ownership ;(
Good luck at the dentist.

Storms here last night. Kitties go somewhere to hide.......didn't see Sheldon until early this morning. Then he crawled in bed with me.
Hoping you'll have a good week ahead. Going to be cooler.
Take care !

Hope all went well with the dentist!
Your food looks delicious and Carole enjoyed these ones. The hankies are beautiful and you will find a border like this to stitch I think.
Take care and stay save ,Truus from Holland

Marly, reading about your sweet cheese nalesniki makes both my mouth and eyes water for the memories of my Polish grandma and the deliciousness she produced. Throw in the beautiful embroidered hankie and she could have been your grandma as well :-)
