And something is. Or is it? More on that later.
I'm really pleased with the colors I chose and the light floral clouds are exactly what I hoped they would be. I used 761 for the pink and this looks really close to the chart photo. Bingo. I reversed the right floral so they are facing each other rather than both facing right.
We went to dinner with my cousins Saturday (I had only water). An hour later I started breaking out with what I thought was hives, they were not. Intense itching, mostly chest, neck, and arms. I removed/cleaned the mud and moss bird nest early that day after they left it. Bird mites are extremely tiny but visible with magnifier. We checked with a magnifier for anything moving, nothing. Plus I handled the baby bird several times the day before without a reaction. This break out was so many at one time and much later so I doubted that cause. I heard that panty liners in your bra absorb the dampness on hot days. I added one to the band of my bra to prevent more irritation and it did feel better. But that self stick back didn't stick well enough and I had an odd protrusion in the center of my t-shirt like an alien birthing through my chest. And I just watched a rerun of that movie the day before. Oh well, hopefully this will subside before I run out of creams and wipes.
July is more than half over. Good grief.
Be safe folks.

I confess, I'm not sure about those flower clouds being so much lighter than the rest. OTOH, not everything has to try and be the star of the show. No shade on your choices, after all the original had light flower clouds. I do like your reversing the one though.
I never gave thought to putting liners in the bra. I've been considering using washcloths or old cut up t-shirts, liners might work better? OTOH, washcloths would be reusable...
Bummer on the itchy rash thing. I hope it subsides soon and never comes back.
You are making me itchy just reading this.... Might it possibly be the liner?? Or the adhesive on it?? Nothing like being 100º and having an issue like that. Hope its departure is quick as its onset. ~Robin~
Your stitching looks great to me and I love this little sampler.
I was thinking the same as Robin that the liner is the cause of your itching. Hope you find ou what the reason is and it stopped itching.
I always put some kitchenpapertowel in my bra when it is hot weather.
Take care, Truus from Holland
So sorry about the itchy business. Mites do sound like a possibility. When I had Shingles I found that well-washed,older, mens cotton/linen handkerchiefs folded flat under the bra band were helpful. I wore a simple, no-frills lounging bra as well. A bit of corn starch in chafing areas will also be a non-toxic buffer between you and the fabric. It's always something, isn't it? Love the way the sampler is turning out.
Life for you is never simple. Hang in thete.
You have no idea how any times I have said a prayer of thanks for you and your sharing of your Lestoil laundry tip!!!
