I've decided to kit these charts that are considered every time I need a new project. My linen pieces are not large, but so far only two samplers require more than I have and have been set aside for now. I tagged these with the minimum cuts in three different counts. I have more 28/30 from years ago than any other, but prefer one strand of floss now. This will take some time but well worth it. Since DMC is not expensive and I don't use silks, purchasing for each and including in the kit will be a plus also. Those ghost colors that I do not like will already be changed and I am so looking forward to being able to just choose a sampler, and start it without frustration and decision making. It's ready!! Not the first time I planned to do this but this time .... I am resolute.
My menomania flashes have returned, patience is nonexistent and anger is hair-trigger. For the sake of these wonderful charts, KIT!! And when that task is done (hopefully without issue), how do I decide which to start? If all are at the ready, is it possible I may start a few and then decide? No WIPs to show, ever, maybe it's about time.
Enjoy your day!

Wow! Wow! Wow!
Good thing you are a fast stitcher because those are some serious samplers!
Hello marly: So many lovely designs to choose from, I would have a hard tiem choosing myself.
Menomania is my middle name.

You've got some beauties in there! I just can't stand to stitch with more than one thread these days. I'll do it for a small ornament, but that's it! Looking forward to seeing which one gets picked first!
Great plan! Brilliant!!
Great idea and great choices for next pieces!!
I spy Kezia. One of these days...one of these days. I actually think I have her kitted. One question if I may (and, yes, I promise one and only one.) Given your proclivity to change out colors as you go, how's it going to work putting the floss in the kits??? ok...done. ~Robin~
Kit prep is always a good idea. I speak from experience......I am great at research, development, planning, acquisition and organization. Implementation and completion are my problem! But you are such a wonderful and prolific stitcher I look forward to seeing all of those samplers beautifully complete.
Great choice of samplers and to think you have them kitted is interesting given the fact that you so often change those flosses. At least you have the basics and once you get going on one of them you can adjust (can't wait to see how that works out - LOL!). You usually come up with a really good color choice for the fabric you're working on -- so start how ever many you want and then decide which to go forth with.
I used to do just one sampler at a time, but interest waned and I had to start another, so I now have several UFO's like so many other stitchers. Come join the crowd!
I finally kitted up a few patterns from a Blackbird Designs book I got recently. I need some threads to kit up the rest. It's SO nice to not have to go root through and gather everything when I want to stitch and have nothing already in progress. That so often leads to my doing no stitching.
However, I still normally stitch one at a time, and slowly at that. I'm not sure why I never got into the multiple projects in the same stage at once* mode. Even with my quilts, at most I have one in planning stage, one in making blocks stage, one getting quilted, one getting binding. I think maybe I don't want to remember where I left off on each project if I have too many going at once.
You have some very nice samplers kitted up. I'm looking forward to seeing them in progress.
*I confess - I DO have multiple stitching projects waiting for being fully finished at once.
