Surprised?

I'm happy with color!  Yikes.  That doesn't happen often, and the process is usually quite frustrating along the way, but not this time.  I still have a very short fuse that could be lit by a match at 20 yards.  Surprisingly, this project has been peaceful.

I plan to stick with the lighter blue for the basket and work on the bottom area this evening.  Again.  Hopefully.  Now would be a good time to remove this slub and weave a new thread.

The Peach Truck has a schedule on their website of pickup locations, you order (25# boxes) and pay, pickup the designated day.  I plan to offer some and freeze half.

I'm still itching, not quite as bad.  The existing bumps are turning as hard as pebbles, a few new ones still coming.  You would think a dermatology office would hold a spot open several days a week for unexpected breakouts, but they do not.  I can be seen in October by the PA.  I told them I will bring photos of the outbreak for his review.

Be safe!

Marly: It is really showing beautiful color, I have had to reweave on linen before, what a pain it is.
Peach's sounds so good here we get the hard ones and have to paper bag them to ripen them.
If you have good insurance maybe an er visit would get you a sooner appointment.
Have a great evening, it is now 85 degrees and windy, not much humidity.

Your colors look really good to me, nice contrast. Believe it or not, I called for a derm appointment yesterday, not an emergency or anything but I have a couple spots that need biopsies, nothing new, been there before.I am scheduled for Jan 4, 2023.

I'm a farmer's daughter, and I only eat peaches from a farm - not from the grocery. We are in NW PA, and it's a couple hours drive to Pittsburgh. I'll end up going to Erie County for my peaches. Just wanted to let you know I enjoyed your stories about the peaches. Love your stitching, too.

I've never removed a slub in linen. Practicing that sounds like a good use for some of those little ornament size bits of linen I have.
Am I surprised about the dermatologist delay? Not really, it *seems* like they pretty much prefer botox/filler injections, maybe acne. That could be faulty perception on my part due to all the commercials for that stuff though. OTOH, they could be that backlogged due to staff woes and people that delayed care for 2 years.
The stitching is looking good, I hope the peaceful continues with it.

The same think usually happens to me with my dermatologist. I am always amazed. I like the colors that you have chosen. This is very pretty.
