Next step

I slept last night without anxiety about the contrast dye because the office never called with instructions, never ordered the pre-medications, and the hospital/scheduling departments never answered the phone.  Rang the last time for four full minutes, the main desk would not take a message, I don't know who the doctor administering the test is, and all are closed until my appointment time Tuesday morning.  I tried my best to give them time to offer another patient my spot, but no one seemed interested.  I also registered online with this new hospital and tried to message, nope.  But I had access to prior EKG results and I am concerned with the reports.  Another cardio will be called for a second opinion but since my eye appointment is a twelve month wait, I wonder how long this one will be.  Whatever.  Shoveling gravel without symptoms is a good sign, but not a reliable one.

As for Kezia, her appointment was postponed also.  She is not having any issues, but her provider is.  Miss Kezia offered her spot to another gal and will wait for an opening in the coming months.

Have a swell Saturday.

That is so frustrating about your appointment. I hope you are persistent in trying to get another....along with a well-laid out plan to address the dye complications. The state of our health care is going the way of the country it seems. Specialists here are rare these days...at least any covered by my insurance plan...and often require a 4-hr round trip to another city. Seriously? These providers used to be available locally and somewhat readily. Even regular providers are difficult to connect with...most appointments are with nurses or, at best PA's. Our clinic looks like a morgue when you walk in these days...so many departments closed...not even any check-in receptionists any more when last year there were at least 6 working when you came in. This past week I was left waiting 45 minutes in the exam room after my appointment for the CNA to return to set up a test procedure. I finally got up and walked out as I had another appointment. Have they bothered calling yet? Ha. Ridiculous. ~Robin~

Sadly customer service is a thing of the past.

First, your gravel and plantings look great. Lots of work shoveling that stone, my back would never cooperate, you get 4 gold stars!

Now to the medical issues. If you have had a reaction to the dye in the past, you must be pre-medicated. To not address that is negligent. So sorry this is happening to you, I sure hope you get it sorted next week. Take care.
