What is wrong with me?

I decided to start the Two by Julia charts.  What am I missing?  This is the legend and there are several in the booklet.  Why can't I identify the symbols?  (Pine is 2)

I am only showing small areas, hoping you can offer help, neither chart has the symbols I am searching for.

The star in the border and throughout.

What looks like a solid circle on blue but enlarged... may be edged.

Two different colors printed for the P.

This symbol like a little house.

This diamond.

What the heck is wrong that I am having so much trouble?

Moving on to another, I can't handle searching, questioning, doubting, feeling incapable of reading a chart!  I worked outside today and this time felt odd, probably anxiety.  But am I so preoccupied that I am missing what is right in front of me?  Anyone have this booklet and can put me on the right path?  I would appreciate it!

I've never seen anything quite like this. After a bit of searching I found that this is by Shakespeare's Peddler and I have found that her symbols are not always very clear, but this is something else. Hope you manage to sort it out.

I looked on Shakespearean Peddler website and saw that she corrected the house symbol. https://www.kittenstitcher.com/product-page/copy-of-cathcart-colquhoun-1785-download-by-shakespeare-s-peddler

I’m sorry, but all I can say is “WTH?”

Marly, I would go by color under the symbol and not symbol itself, comparing to the pattern picture. The more I look, the more I find. There are just a few stitches of aged pewter in the pattern with the hunter. I'm wondering if the diamond on black is also supposed to be stitched in aged pewter. Have you tried to contact Theresa? Or just make it yours and use what you like.

Such a pity that it isn't clear what color belongs to the symbols and also the symbols are different from the chart.
Contact the company who made the this one.
Take care, Truus from Holland

Well...That is quite bizarre. It appears Anonymous above found at least one answer but I would definitely contact Theresa. I had to contact her regarding some linen a bit back and she was very responsive. These kind of things drive me nuts. ~Robin~
