is the only over one left. He's a little hound, shouldn't take too long.
The Hunter is done! I added hands, looked like they were there in the photo.
Stuffing the rest of the garden peppers for the freezer. The filling is cooked (some sausage, some ground beef with rice, celery, onion, garlic) and the meat is pulsed in the food processor for a fine texture before mixing. The narrow peppers can take more filling when it's pulsed. Peppers are stuffed raw, then frozen on a tray and vacuum packed. They go in the oven frozen or partially thawed with sauce added. Those large green are Marconi and the yellow hots are Inferno, both nicely walled and large.
We went to Joann's after my treatment and holy hot cakes! It was twenty times the size of mine! Huge. So much to see and I plan to go back after my next appointment in two weeks. I'll pack Mark a lunch and bring his sudoku book. The bags didn't work out, too narrow of an edge to grab when opening. My fingers are fat, crooked, and far from dexterous.
Here's something you don't want to do. Stand in line at the big store's checkout, patiently waiting to move up, finally get closer, look down at your cart, and realize it's not yours.

Good morning ! I have waited in many a line, so glad I didn't grab someone else's cart. That had to be maddening, disappointing, frustrating and make you want to say bad words.
Love your little hunter and his dog.
I wish I enjoyed cooking like you do. Used to do a lot of different meals, leftovers were frowned at. My kids are choosy, thank goodness.
Take care, glad you found a big JoAnn's. Enjoy !

Oh Marly how did this happen-- someone else cart and not another person did not see they had another cart too!
I would have laughed so loud and perhaps wet myself!
A pity that the bags were to small for you.
Your sampler is beautiful and you are so quick with your stitching!
Take care, Truus from Holland
Bummer that the bags were not what you wanted. But I'm glad you got to check out the big Joann. And that you could check the bags before ordering and being disappointed.
*So far* I've not walked off with someone else's cart, but have had mine taken by other customers or by employees thinking it's been abandoned. Fortunately I've stopped them before they got too far.
I like the hands on the hunter, seems odd they'd have been left off the pattern.
Fun going along with you to Joann's...sorry about the bags, but good that you found out on the spot they would not do. Chuckles about the cart switch... hope you did not retrieve yours through the embarrassing public address system. What a splendid job you are doing on the sampler
Hello, and I am just now catching up on my regular blog reads. For many reasons I intentionally backed off social media for a month or so. A few blog posts, ones that were already scheduled mostly, that's it. As a sister introvert, sometimes it's just too much. Sorry to hear about all the upsetting things going on for you. There are no easy answers for some things. You have been a trooper all along. I am amazed at your patience and stamina.
Your projects are coming along beautifully. I have had no patience for doing much of anything lately, I am hoping the cold air forcing me inside will start my engines. Cold air, is not for me but it sure beats alligators in your front yard, hurricanes, and snakes in the kitchen. Friends and family in the south and in the hurricane zones have problems I could not tolerate. I'll deal with the cold thank you very much.
Poor kitties. Oh my, having a sick or injured pet is the worst. Well, not the worst but pretty bad.
Your gravel project looks great, really great. I have been trying to get a roofer for our barn for months. Just in the last few weeks, 3 different contractors no shows, multiple times. Painters, never return calls. Cement works, nada, nothing, very frustrating. What has happened to our country?
Your peppers look great. I chose not to do any this year. Sounds sad but I tossed two trays of 6 recently because the 1-year mark had passed. We don't eat like we used to anymore and there is just too much waste.
Take care, hope you find the right bags, the gravel finishes itself before the snow flies, and that all those one-overs work out just right!
The sampler is coming along beautifully...!!
Ooops! Peed myself laughing. (Thank you! Haven't laughed that hard in a long time.)
To be the person behind you when you discovered the cart mix-up LOL. Can't say I've done this but I suppose it's a matter of time. I certainly have been an airhead of late. I didn't realize they had large JoAnn's? Ours is old...very old...and, like our Michael's, not very inviting. Perhaps it's just a sign of "the times"...or perhaps it's just me and my increasing disenchantment with everything connected with the "outside" world. Your stuffed peppers sound yummy...well, not the hot ones. ~Robin~
You are stitching that FAST!!! I love it.
Long ago you said that you didn’t get the comments from aol people. Trying again. Little Julia doesn’t know much about
Gun safety🙀. Rifle pointed up! Trip and blow his head off!!! Love your sampler.

Hi Marly: This is a beautiful design, i am looking forward to seeing the dog stitched, do you hang your designs in a cluster or individually? just curious.
I would love to eat all your stuffed peppers, yummy.
Have a great day
Catherine
