Yes I am. So I'm venting a little. I am disappointed that I bought a $20 printed chart with incorrect symbols and had that page replaced in an email. I didn't buy a pdf and this has been a royal pain. I am disappointed the fifteen page pdf I did purchase will not print anywhere and Staples can't explain why. I am disappointed that I paid $16 for a 9x11 piece of linen that was listed and on my order as a 19x11 piece, only to be told the bag was marked wrong. I am disappointed that consumers are cautious to complain because they take the chance of being considered a troublesome customer. I am disappointed that a $60 cake was dry as sand and the piped letter C looked like a U. I am disappointed that the words I would really like to use are impolite, crass, rude.
Minor inconveniences to crab about compared to real problems. But crabs can't help themselves, and crab they must.
Hope your weekend is going well.

Marly, you shouldn't have to put up with shoddy goods, or linen that is the wrong size. I think we often don't complain because it's too much trouble, but unless we do, we are going to carry on getting ripped off. With the linen, I would go back to the seller and ask them for a pre paid postage label to send it back and you either want a full refund or linen the right size. You and I are the same age and I don't care any more if someone thinks I'm a grumpy old lady, but I won't be taken for a fool.
All legitimate beefs! Feel free to vent, I feel your pain! (You should get credit from the store for their mistake in marking that linen incorrectly AND $60 is a lot to pay for a cake let alone a dry one!) If I could I`d give you some chocolate.
These things do seem to come in bunches. Can be very frustrating. You are allowed to ‘crab’ all you want.
Go back to the stores a d ask again for the correct pdf- the correct linen and if they will refuse, tell them you will place their name with a photo of the wrong thing on fb and tell everyone not to buy there again. And do this also with that expensive cake!
Hope that will help.
Take care and stay save. Enjoy your Sunday, Truus from Holland
I'd be asking for a partial refund on the linen, and if they continue to say "too bad", dispute the charges, and publish their name. If it says on the order confirmation or packing slip the wrong size, you should have no issue with the CC company? And is not badmouthing a company when it's facts, and we need to know of places to think twice about ordering from. Linen is too expensive, and hard to come by without throwing an uncooperative business into the mix.
You have a legitimate complaint on the patterns and cake too.
Far too much money for things that are not right if not unusable. True, we don't have missiles being flung at us, and have food on the table, but those little things are still quite aggravating and damned expensive. Crab away!
Sounds like all legitimate grips to me. I would contact all for correction especially the fabric! The cake well, tell others about the cake and do not buy from them again.
All legit gripes! Sadly, customer service is a thing of the past.
Hey Girlfriend: We have all been where you are, I have had steam coming out of my ears so many times I am amazed I can still hear like a dog, it is a shame that you cannot print the design.
Do you have a printer at home, or can you take a photo of one page send it to me and I can try to work with it, just a thought, it may work.
I have heard that some companies like Staple and Officemax will not print a pattern due to copy rights, they think they will get in trouble, who knows.
If you bought the fabric with a credit card you can dispute thought them and maybe get a full or partial refund.
As for the cake I am so sad, I am a cake hound and if it's not right and good I do complain.
Let me know by email if I can help.
Hugs to you my friend
Catherine
In our real world, it seems that customer service and honesty are much like a nearly extinct animal. I could go on and on but will refrain because even complaining seems futile. I no longer purchase PDFs. Hate them. Linen, ha, also a hit or miss. I have little in supplies right now and plan to use it up and not buy anything unless it is in my hand as a sample or in my face in a brick-and-mortar store. I have one retailer from whom I purchase batiks in rayon, knit, and cotton. The quality is so darn superior I keep thinking I am going to wake up and this is all a dream! Crab away, you are entitled and we as consumers need to complain more and not be held hostage by sellers of ill repute!
You’re not a crab Marly. Your complaints are legit. We need people to just do their jobs. Simple as that, right?
