Yes!
Couldn't sleep. Dim lights, total quiet, hot pack on my low back. Ahhh. A few Advil and a cold drink to soothe my dryness. Monkey (Missy) staring at things that are not there is freaking me out while a loud noise of something falling behind me is puzzling. Thought browsing a little online would be nice, lots of catching up to do. And then I see them. BOOM!
Huge ornaments for outdoor decorating! How did I miss these? I am not one to have large Christmas displays, prefer fewer and simple. Holy balls of jingle. I love these!! Two on my front deck with lit tree or large hanging star and I'm in! From Amazon, Pottery Barn, Grandin Road, many offers. Some are basically beach balls, some need a pump to keep them inflated, some ($$$$) are resin.
If I can come up with a way to create my own, I may give it a shot next year. Right now in the morning fog, a balance ball is all I'm coming up with that is 30" or more. Then again, my memory issue may erase this by next year, or my meno issue may change my mind about it.
They just really struck a chord and surprised me!

They look very cool, Marly! What about the super large kids' balls you can find at the dollar stores? Although they might not be big enough. Have a wonderful weekend!
Those big ornaments look good.
I have to wonder how the inflatable ones do when out in weather that can vary 40-50 degrees though. If inflated so they look good when it's 50 degrees out do they collapse when it goes down to 10 degrees for the high the next day? If inflated so they look good when it's 10 degrees out, do they expand and explode when it hits 50 degrees?
And then there's the wind.
Those are pretty awesome...but I'd prefer an antiqued silver finish. I can dream because they would never work here in Nod. Inflatables...not a fan. And they wouldn't last a week before being blown to the nearest cost. The resin might survive the winds, but would be buried sooner rather than later in snow. I have an old water cooler an on my little bak landing (not big enough to call a porch) and have some greens from "Mason's woods" and lights in it. After the storm the past 3 days, there is a mound of snow with a dull glow come from it. ~Robin~
They look like those balls with a handle you could jump around on. Do you think I could remember their name, NOPE!! These are pretty cool. Jen
Merry Christmas Marly: My sister-in-law made balls out of bowling balls, not real big but supper sweet, I love the jingle balls in the first photo, super attractive.

Those jingle balls!!! They are great.
The big ball ornaments are great and perhaps the one for on the beach which has to blow up,will do the trick. They have to be painted or with a paint spray and filled with sand so they don't fly away.
Hope you will have the time to make these huge balls.
Have a peaceful Sunday, Truus from Holland
