Some crows are cranky.

 Some are a nervous wreck.
Not worth telling of the lack of communication, respect for patient concerns, response regarding scheduling, I will leave if doctor refuses to speak with me before surgery.

Some are mad enough to squawk out loud.
I received a call from a nurse who spoke with Carole's previous aides and learned of the six weeks without care at home.  She said they offer in home services, the waiver program, and have three caregivers locally.  WHAT?  They knew she had no help, have been calling her for updates, and the skilled staff didn't know this branch of the facility is available?  AUGH!!!  Too late now, she signed to have grandson's girlfriend who left her old job to do so.  Furious.

And some are friends.
Charted light, this crow appeared wimpy, ghosted, insignificant, unlike a crow I admire.  Through hell and heartache, feeling broken and alone, she prevailed.  In honor of her, this bird is not fading into the background.  From 644 to 310, she stands proud as she should.

This is the full width of the design.

Have a good Sunday folks.  This is Sunday isn't it ?

Looks lovely. Just discovered my friend had passed away Friday...feel kind of empty. Had been picking things up for me for so long, goodies, clothes, etc. Death is hard on those left behind.....

Hugs

Love and caring surrounding Sharlene on her loss. Embrace the good and
happy memories. Marly, that nursing home revelation is unconscionable...
Someone really in charge needs a "Come to Jesus" letter. Your anger is justified. Love your "crow" tribute and agree wholeheartedly. No, it is not Sunday, although we can call it whatever you wish...you have certainly earned having a choice.

You have every right to be angry. I like how you changed the crow color. Thinking of you and praying all goes well on Monday.

Marly, there really is no excuse for Carole not getting the help she needed. I hope everything goes well on Monday. Your sampler is just beautiful, as usual. Love how you made the crow stand out as a crow should! Take care.....Cherie in WI

Hello marly: I am not sure why a designer would make a crow a lite color, I like that youi chose to change the color to 310.
Have a great week.

As Anonymous said - No excuse on lack of communication and response about Carole's care.
Yes, crows should be black. Nice change on the sampler.

Thinking of you and praying that your surgery goes well.
I've found that health care is really not what it used to be.

Catching up on your blog Marly and I hope all has gone well today for your (minor) surgery and I sure hope it's over by now! Your stitching is charming as always - so pretty and the crow is much better dark as a crow should be!
