The headboard looks good. Not knowing what you and Mark drive, I can see being puzzled how to get it over to Carole's. I know it would not fit in my small car even if I left part hanging out of the trunk. I'd have to strap it to the roof, or have someone hang out the window holding it.
Oh, my! What a great looking headboard you've created... When we were in Florida cleaning out the flooded house, we learned about Home Depots trucks for rent, too--very inexpensive and handy for larger items. Good luck. And I'm so glad you are on the mend ♥

Know anyone with a pickup? Nice job on that headboard!
But that turned out wonderful!! And quick too
You two are talented and full of energy it seems! Nice job.
The headboard looks great. You and yours did a really super job. Home Depot rents trucks by the hour. Just a thought.
Great re-purposing...I hope Carole loves it. ~Robin~
You two are so handy. I'm sure you figured out transport!
What beautiful workmanship. You both are such a blessing to Carole. Would
protective covering on a roof rack work for the short distance?
That came out really beautiful. Great job! How about tying it down on the roof of your car?
The headboard is looking great and you could sell it in a shop when Carole don't want it...lol.
Good luck ,Truus from Holland
