BBD roll.
After my Zofran and Advil, I plan to pull linen scraps and kit these sweet rolls. Ah. Sweet roll. Have not been craving sugary treats which is a good thing whether from the meds or the virus. I will try my best to keep it that way. Still need the sweet in my tea and coffee.
I have another BBD pinroll working copy that I enlarged, bird with a berry, no idea where it came from. That one makes five. I do plan to get back to samplers, but I am picturing a bowl filled with these tootsie rolls. I've not been keen to hiding half of a design with this shape, and I may add some sort of vertical border at the seam to increase the size a little.
These are all from the BBD Book Sewing Club.
Enjoy your day everyone.

I didn't realize there were that many rolls in that book. My sil did the third one you pictured and it turned out beautifully. Hmmm...a whole bowl of tootsie rolls you say?? 🤔 I think that would be positively delightful. Snowing here...snow all week. ~Robin~
Marly: I really like the needle rolls, they are lovely, I am looking forward tom seeing how many you do.

Love these pindrums and as you ,it's a pity that only half of it is showing when finished in a display. But in the other end, turn them over and you have another display of your rolls! lol
Take care and get well soon, Truus from Holland
I have always been charmed by the rolls, no matter what name is attached. Not sure why, just love them. You will make them special, of that I am sure. I have some BBD books with these featured, but no oomph to get going. Need Spring, yes, that's it!
How cute are those? Having a bowl full of them would be nice. I have an old dough bowl that is filled with smalls (mostly pin cushion size) (including one gorgeous heart that you stitched!).
They are all lovely! I made also a few and they are fun to make!
