Boom

 Busy afternoon!

More aged and beat up than appears in the photos.  Old screw holes, discoloration, worn out wood, exactly the look I wanted.  Fifty four inches wide, thirty one high without backsplash.

Not sure if or when I will add a spatter of chipping paint, maybe a few spots on the legs.

This was to be set on the front deck for summer with flowers, but I love it enough to want it in the back where I see it out my window.

Old decking recycled into more projects!  Do we have enough for another?

Hard to believe all the wonderful projects you get yourself into! Love it all and I think that table/bench (whatever you want to call it) is super!

I've been away for awhile but am interested in all your projects - yard, needlework, and your relentless willingness to improve Carole's living facilities. God Bless You for all you do.
Sending my very best to you and your family.....

The creativity, imagination and skills you and Mark have are amazing!

Lucky gal to have Mark at your beck and supplication. That bench does have a worn-by-loving-work look about it... inspired primitiveness..
Enjoy....

Your bench looks great and a good use of the decking.
Good to hear that Carole's friend loved the the way how her home is now and hope Carole agrees with her.
How was the appointment-- all went well??
Take care and enjoy your stitching, Truus from Holland

Well done again, Mark! The bench is cool, even better that it made use of old wood.
How I wish I had a potting bench! Absolutely put it where YOU can see it. The one who does the work of gardening should be able to enjoy it from the windows of their own home, not just a few seconds while coming up the driveway.
I hope the visit from a friend cheered Carole up, cool that she liked the room changes.

And from yesterday's post-
I had to buy spray paint too - eek! I'm glad I don't have to do that often.
The color changes are good, especially the change from 3862 to 612 is a good one for that linen.
