A brick wall. After all the enthusiasm to work on the lawn, I think I hit a wall! Thankful the brick "grout" is left bare, no stitches, and the roof edge matched with the side. As with the lawn's pattern, the brick is somewhat random in spots so I need to pay close attention. That tall outline is the house side.
Found my pink tunia, enjoyed the ride in the country.
My eye appointment can't come soon enough. The center of the lens dissolved overnight and I am left with the ring in my eye. Obviously not the usual expected outcome so I don't anticipate success. I will wait a few weeks if he wants to try again.
Meanwhile, that's a big fricking house. Should I set Sarah aside for a few days, and hope a break will help the mojo? Monogamous for decades, trying to change.
Can you believe it's mid May already?

Your sampler is looking good, Marly! Sorry to hear about the lens. Thinking of you!
I hope the lens was intact long enough to do its job.
I have no suggestion to offer on setting Sarah aside, I'm pretty much a one-at-a-time stitcher too. It seems too hard to wrap my brain around where I left off if I have too many of the same type of project in progress at one time.
You just can't catch a break. Hopefully, as Just Gail said, the lens did what it was supposed to do.
You are one fast stitcher! Lookin' good.
Another here hoping the lens did what it was supposed to do. Kind of scary! The sampler is looking good. I'm now working on 2 new pieces and am contemplating 3 new cast ons for knitting! What is up with me? LOL
Eyes and all things considered, you have done a remarkable job on this
dense piece... up to you how you continue your stitching mode... if this
one is building a wall, don't knock yourself out trying to scale it, just
set it aside or wait for another day of needle ambition....in any event,
I am hoping that lens made adequate correction... onward & upward.
Hoping your eye absorbed whatever good was in the lens and you see some benefit. The sampler is looking amazing. There is so much stitching that it almost looks like a tapestry. Impressive! Your angst over projects reminds me of me trying to decide to pick up my needle or my hook. I have one little stitchery in progress that I started that I will finish up and then I really need to focus on a few final finishing efforts. Seriously. Glad you found your pink petunia. Still no plants here ... nor any urge. ~Robin~
Not long before xmas.
