Error after error

That entire large messy lawn had no counting errors which really surprised me.  But all else has been one after another.  This time, the unfinished tree on right is a linen thread off.  I frogged some, plan to adapt the rest, will not be noticed.

Many other missteps happened in those leaves and again, adapted unless the misplacement bumped into another motif.

Very crabby today, minor health nuisances are causing major obscenity slingers.  The knee IT band is side of knee facing out.  Maybe because of limping so badly and trying to balance, the inside of that knee has taken over the pain.  I remembered during Carole's stays the nurse said that ibuprofen (advil) then 2-3 hours later acetaminophen (tylenol) resulted in greater reduction of pain compared to each alone.  Checked with my pharmacist (never take together, allows hours between)  .... bingo.  Noticeable difference and I am still limping but can walk without the cane.  Will continue for a few days on this, another steroid pack is not in my plans.

This tiny petit point was done by my late SIL and I thought it would be nice to have a fob of her work.

I ordered three colors of perforated paper in 14 count and also the white in 18 count.  Once NWP shows more of that, they'll be gone.   I'm ready!!

Enjoy your day!

May be a silly question but what do you use perforated paper for?

Glad to read you found a semi-solution to the pain. Yes, I always heard the rotating works best. Love your sis's petit point! So beautiful! And, yeah...NWP is certainly enticing me into the field of perforated paper as well. Yikes....just what I need LOL. ~Robin~

I had not heard about the ibuprofen/acetaminophen in staggered doses before. Even though I'm on team aspirin (only if needed), I may give that a try when my hip is particularly painful. I'm not surprised about the knee hurting in a different spot - for me it's quite common to have that happen if I start walking differently while trying not to aggravate the original pain. I hope you IT band woes continue on the mend. Sorry it's taking a while though.

The stitching looks good. You do good work improvising, whether on purpose (colors, symmetry) or not (a stitch or thread off). Far better than reaching for the matches! I too am wondering what project you have planned for the perforated paper.

Beautiful petit point from your SIL and love the pendant.
Never used perforated paper before.
Take care with your knee and I would still use the stick when walking. Truus from Holland

Your stitching looks GREAT...don't think I've ever done any stitching project without an error. I don't fix unless it causes the whole design to be off.
LOVE the petit point.....
Have a great weekend

Marly, I’m glad to see that Carole is doing so well. You and your husband have taken very good care of her and her needs. Your sampler is just beautiful despite the errors. We would never notice them. It looks like a lot of counting is involved with all the motifs on it. Going back a few posts, I found a site online for frames, Franken Frames, and have ordered from them a couple of times. I was very happy with all the frames I purchased from them and they are very reasonably priced. They ship fast and are very well packaged for shipping.
I hope your knee is feeling better and you have a nice, relaxing weekend. Cherie in WI
