Not the good kind.
My sweetheart, drop dead gorgeous, man-bun long haired Jason came to do the work. Finishing the sewer project mess that we've been waiting for since 2021.
Now. I am home alone. With a rollator. And a comfortable t-shirt dress ( takes a long while to reach the bathroom, no time to balance and pull down pants). This favorite had accidental bleach spots, so I went wild with it to hide them. Artsy, huh?
Well. When you lean forward with a walker/rollator as most do, your dress becomes quite short in the back. Add a heart monitor receiver in its pocket pulls the front down even further. A glimpse of this posture disaster and backside exposure was unknown until my reflection in a window made my wheels come to a screeching halt. I wondered why not one of the guys tried to help me up that step into the house as I struggled. Now, I know.
I think I'll go change into pants, even if it means wetting them.

Its a shame Marly at least one of them could have helped.
Love the artwork, very creative.
Hope you are back to normal soon.

No matter the circumstance, you can always make us laugh!!!
They probably have had years of working cheek by jowl with assorted "plumber's cracks", you'd think it wouldn't have phased them.
I like the fabric art; it could be dandelions, fireworks, or rain spatter. Looks good enough to buy at a craft fair.
The bleach stains are really cool.
LMBO...you crack me up. Love the boho tshirt dress....and, hmmm, seems like you have resolved your thinning hair issue! ~Robin~ (PS...yay on finally getting that project taken care of!)
Chivalry is dead…what a shame. But I am glad that the 2021 project has been worked on.
Love what you did with your bleach spot situation! I never would have thought of that!
Hope you’re feeling better soon!
You need to wear that t-shirt dress for the 4th of July as it looks like fireworks going off. Wishing you and Mark a wonderful 4th of July.
Great idea to make more spots-- looks fantastic!
Don't you have a short of tricot with an elastic band, so you can take it quicker down.
Take care and a lovely weekend, Truus from Holland
I must confess, I did get the giggles reading this post. Maybe the lack of offers to help you up the steps meant the guys were averting their eyes and focusing on the work? Fantastic news that after 2 years the work is finally getting worked on.
Nice work on camouflaging the bleach spots!
Marly, you always make me laugh! Maybe the landscapers will show up quicker when you need them next time!! It looks like they did a good job and it’s finally finished! Have a nice, relaxing holiday weekend! Cherie in WI
I can`t believe the hunk came back! If only his work ethic was as good as his looks. I hope you were wearing your big girl panties!
I agree with "unknown". Love your fireworks dress.
Am so glad the problem in your yard was corrected and by a handsome workman.
It's wonderful that we can laugh, make fun of our awful situations.
I'm there with you with the bathroom problem.
Sending hugs and hope that you'll be feeling better very soon.

I have to say, that no what you are going through, you always have the ability to make us laugh, Marly! So glad the landscaping project is finally getting finished after the sewer mess! One thing can be checked off your very long list at last. Hang in there with this rain the next few days--I'm so glad I had nothing planned for the 4th! ♥
So funny. At least 'you' had a nice view watching the guys. 🤣
I like your bleach stains. Seen much worse-looking for sale for some rather large $$$. I've recently gotten turned on to scrubs, esp the pants. The ones that just tie. They're really just slightly better-cut sweatpants, but they don't look half bad and are so much easier to cope with than pants or jeans.
