to get Rachel finished. Not surprised that I forgot about her since my memory has declined. Not sure what will be out to pasture but I've been searching and so far, nothing.
While looking in the only two books I have left, I saw this casket panel and thought it would make a sweet drum. On 32 count, three inch high and ten long. Higher count even smaller so probably not an option. Sectioned into three small ornaments?
Also saw this design. Nice.
No more zucchini breads for the freezer. We've found friends willing to take several. Hubs made a wonderful stew with sausage, zukes, diced tomatoes, small sauce, onion, beans, chick broth. Very tasty. Tomorrow, sautéed diced onion, garlic, then topped with sliced zuke until soft, add several beaten eggs with salt, pepper, parmesan. Cover until eggs are cooked. Can't be bad!
The rains we've been having caused the Sweet Millions massive tomato plant and cage to topple onto the hot pepper plants. Today, stuffed hot peppers for the freezer to use all from the broken plants.
Have a good day folks. Mine have been consumed with thoughts of a friend in her final days.

Prayers for your friend.
Oooo...I love that casket panel! I have not had a single zucchini yet this season. It seems my appts/necessary trips to town are not coinciding with the day there is a farmer's market and it doesn't pay to make a special trip - not with all the construction detours. Enjoy your bounty. ~Robin~ (And, yes, prayers for your friend....)
That casket panel is nice. It seems like it could be modified to make a drum.
Sorry about your friend.
Such a difficult time when our friends are so ill. I have lived this as well, recently. There is no way to reconcile suffering, we all cope in our own way. My prayers are for your dear friend and for you. Standing vigil can be exhausting, guard your own health.
Our zucchini crop has been rather slim this year. First I should not complain, my source is from my dear son and Dil's garden. Seems she was enamored of stuffed blossoms and rather over-picked. We all got a bit of a chuckle after that one. Now she knows.
The casket panel is stunning, simple but very pictural at the same time. Anxious to see what you do with that one. As usual, you are a busy little bee.
