So many things to be thankful for, even when we feel so many things are going wrong. At times, that's quite difficult for many. I hope those struggling can find some good in their lives to focus on, not just today, but when things seems hopeless.
If the turkey is dry, the potatoes lumpy, and the gravy greasy, you still have a plate of food with family or friends which many do not.
One of the things my friend is thankful for, is not having dinner guests and enjoying a relaxing day with her favorite soup and sweatpants.

Happy Thanksgiving Marly!!
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family, Marly!
You said it so well Marly. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your clan and to all your blog readers!
A very blessed Thanksgiving to you, Marly, to your Family and to all kindred spirits on this wonderful blog. May you know the joy, peace, love and freedom this day promises.
Happy Thanksgiving - cooking, not stitching !!!! Love your work, found we have many "older" patterns in common. Doing more "smalls" lately. Put my stckings (January - December) on the metal tree....still like them...finishing up the 12 Berries of Christmas - they are larger than I like - but they are nice. Tried doing them over 1 - but it just didn't work.
Stay well and don't overdo...
Hope your Thanksgiving was perfect in every way!
I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving, Marly. And, that you find a little time to stitch this weekend. Cherie in WI
