who's got the button ?
As soon as this guy gets his walking shoes, his buttons will be chosen. I have another Prokera lens in so vision and perception is not ideal. But I did look through the jar briefly (at least half were donated), did not see any bright green or orange. But maybe basic black would look best, color may fade into the pattern.
My change from the 611 to the bright green created a wild outfit. He would look great as charted with less flamboyant clothing too.
Hope to shoe him this evening, high mag glasses with Prokera eye covered. My finger is very sore from getting poked beneath when struggling to get the needle through this fabric..
Enjoy your day, stay safe.
Note to Quilting58 (no-reply) - we either roast, cool, cover and refrigerate until morning, then slice and spread in large corning/ pyrex, pour the broth over and cover/ fridge until time to heat .... or roast, cool completely, slice and add broth the night before.

Where do I find your recipes? Thanks
Marly, he is so cute! The murky is perfect for him. I bet you’re glad you stuck with it despite the sore finger. Cherie in WI
I always cook my turkey the night before, slice and put in Corningware, add plenty of broth and foil. Then heat up the next day. Sometimes, I will make my gravy the day before too. That way, the bird mess and top of the stove from making the gravy is all cleaned up and I have more time to visit with family on the day of. That's the most important thing!
What a charming little fella he has turned out to be! Personally, I think black buttons would be the cat's meow. Good luck with the one-eyed shoeing. ~Robin~
Hello marly: He reminds me of the Halloween items way back in the fifties, rather old fashioned, I like his outfit, we do not celebrate Halloween but I do like seeing what everyone is stitching for Halloween and fall, I really like him.

He is too cute!!!
So I see if I comment from my iPad I show up only as Lauren and not Rugs and Pugs. Another little mystery 🤷♀️
Your guy looks great and sorry to hear of your finger.
Take care, Truus from Holland
I tried the sausage tortellini soup yesterday. YUMMMMM!
Hope the lens does magic for you, at least a bit of magic anyway.
The pumpkin guy is looking good, hope your finger doesn't rebel before he's finished. Not that you asked...black buttons would be my choice even if you did have orange or green. Unless they were very dark green, then maybe those.
I love that idea of cooking your turkey ahead of time, Marly! We are having our Thanksgiving dinner on Christmas so I'll definitely give it a try :)
