And I'm done with meal prep. Decided against baking apple pie and will take our nutroll from the freezer. Sweet potato pie casserole and green beans baked, turkey is sliced in casserole dish with broth. Tracy will mash potatoes, masked Carole is making gravy. Her cough is bad, quite a cold but not covid like our friends that were on cruises or airplanes. Thankfully not terribly ill, but all tested positive within days of returning home. It's becoming commonplace.
Finally sitting down, put my tiny tree next to me, my nearest project that is ready to work on is Julia. Too tired to bother with pulling linen and thread for new work. And I still have not found the linen I plan to sell which was placed in a "safe" spot.
Instagram is continually showing Laura Geller makeup and other options for mature skin. Amazing before and afters, but how heavy is it? There is an Ulta about 40 minutes away, not sure what they carry, but these makeup ads have piqued my interest. Way too many options out there!!
Enjoy your weekend folks.
Be safe and well.

Marly, your dinner looks and sounds delicious! After all the work of making it and hauling it, enjoy! I hope you and your husband don’t end up sick! I love your little trees. I never see anything like that at our Hobby Lobby, but they are probably gone by the time I get there! I need to start looking at Christmas things in Aug. when they start putting it out! You deserve to spend tomorrow with your feet up and stitching! Cherie in WI
The Laura Geller make up is awful. The color never matches; it looks heavy and mask like. You never look natural, but always artificial. You’d be better off using a tinted BB cream. Elf makes a nice inexpensive one.
Just catching up on your blog, wanted to wish you a Happy Thanksgiving (even though it`s over)! Sounds like all went well...wishing you a restful week.
I'm glad you dinners went well. You well deserve as many days of stitching without interruption as big meals you made.
Bummer on another mystery symbol, but Julia will look fantastic in the end.
Good to hear the diners were great and all is done now. So you can rest and take time to stitch at Julia.
She looks lovely with the soft colors and a mystery symbol,is not a problemen for you,I think.
Take care and stay save, Truus from Holland
My husband and I continue to mask up on airplanes. I rarely wear makeup any more and I stick to Clinique as it doesn't have a scent. I am extremely allergic to scents. I like your little tree. It sounds like you have had some nice gatherings.
I'm 68 and love Laura Geller make-up. The brush/powder foundation is really nice, and you can put on as much as you want. I don't find the coverage for age spots and redness is quite what I see on the LG makeup videos, so I do use a concealer before brushing on the foundation. The products maybe considered expensive, but the company runs sales all the time. I highly recommend Spackle which will help make-up to glide on the skin. Hope you give LG a try and love it.
Love Laura geller baked powder makeup liquid makeup settles in wrinkles but Laura goes on smooth with good coverage give it a try Qvc has specials
