Anyone?

Before I take these to Goodwill, would anyone be interested?  They were kits from American Home magazine (1928-1977), not known who stitched them.  Very large crosses on beautiful linen (?) with a nice sheen, probably stamped embroidery.  All are on the same cream colored fabric, design is around 8" tall.  Four birds and a verse.  The birds could work in an 8 x10 frame or be sewn into pillows.  Free to a good home!

I could mail anywhere, but if international I would like to verify shipping first.

Let me know, email link at top right or comment.

Please let me know.

Thank you so much.

Beautiful birds, so nice of you to gift them to someone. I know this is late but wanted to wish you and yours a very Merry Christmas...and a happy healthy New Year!

Happy to read you got Carole to your home and you all enjoyed the visit.
Don't know if it helps for a next time to get her out/into the car, but if you put a plastic bag on her seat in the car,you can more easely turn her in place, because all is sliding much more.
Poor Frosty, you had to unpick so much stitches.
Have peaceful days,Truus from Holland

The birds and verse are lovely. Reality is I'd probably end up stuffing them in a drawer or bin. They need a better home than that.

There's a woman on Facebook who incorporates vintage needlework into project bags for cross stitchers. I love that she uses all these pieces that would otherwise probably be thrown out. The account name on FB is Deborah Harry's. She might be interested.
