If you wait,

all that happens is you get older.

That's from McMurtry.  Good reminder isn't it?  He would probably have liked this wreath.

I went back to Julia for a bit, trying to decide if I want any more Santas stitched.

Love stitching them, but unless hung on a tree, way too many to find a place for.  Most designs are vertical, not conducive to box tops, but this little guy is a perfect choice for now.

Made for a box and not a Santa.  I'll pull the threads and change one part for sure.  His scarf is too distracting, sort of confusing.  It will be darker and easily identified.

I am still searching for, unable to locate for months, my finish of Lizzie Peddie.  Where could she be?  I know I have a mess but finishes are draped over a rod and covered except for smalls to be sewn.  Many times I fail to remember a giveaway or sale of finished pieces, but she was recent and a favorite, never to leave me.
Seeing a doc this week because of short term memory problems and inability to find correct words.

That's it folks.
Be safe, be well.

I can't remember where many of my hooked and stitched pieces have gone. Were they gifts? Did I sell them (just a few)? Just given away? And to whom???
Sweet wreath ;-)

I love your Santas!
I have lost all of my antique and handmade tree ornaments. How does that happen?
Let me know how your doc appt goes. I have the same problem.

Merry Christmas Marly and Family: You have such a gift for decorating, the wreath is beautiful with the stitched designs on it, I hope you find Lizzie Peddie, the snowman is adorable design.
I hope you find what is going on, sometimes memory can be because you are stressed.
Have a wonderful week, very warm here this week, no snow on the fround.

Hugs
Catherine

Love your wreath, Marly! But then, you had me at reindeer. I hope you find Lizzie. Have you looked in your pattern keeper thing (I can't remember what you call it)? I am sure she will turn up. Lovely snowman choice!

Sorry you can't find Lizzie Peddie, hope you find her soon. The memory issue, I hope it is "only" due to stress as Catherine suggested, not something more. That you are distracted by thoughts unrelated to what you are doing. The trouble finding words - I have no idea what that could be, except it seems I've had some trouble after avoiding people for so long due to the vile contagion, and no kitties to talk to now either. Yelling at TV commercials and the news just isn't the same as a good conversation. It's probably a good thing I have GD (20 months old) duty at least one day a week. It gives me a good reason to chatter and use lots of words.

I like the wreath. A nice change from the usual Santas, angels, etc. The snowman pattern is cute. I agree that scarf is a bit distracting.

Beautiful wreath and the Snowman finish will be even better with your color changes. I'm in the same boat with you concerning my memory, Marly, and have been for a while. All I can tell you is I am fine most of the time, but when I am under stress, I really notice lapses. Kind of scary given that my dad had Lewy Body Dementia. Please let me know what the doctor says! ♥

Like pumpkins, I hardly meet a deer I don't love. You have some lovely specimens there and they are wonderfully displayed on that wreath. I stitched The Primitive Hare's at one point but think he may have taken Miss Lizzie on walkabout as I don't recall seeing him either for some time... All I know is he was not ffo'd. Cute snowman...surprised to see it's BBD as I have never seen it before. Good luck with the appt. If they give you a magic pill, remember you have to share with me. ~Robin~
