Miss Maggie Mae from Stacy Nash has been the darling of the Nashville newbies, and sold out. I did not pre-order, purchases were limited, but she wore me down. I found her in Stacy's Etsy shop for download. Even though shops' stock will be replenished at some point, I needed her in my zone. Now. And now she is. Weird, huh?
And then Stacy's exclusive As the Crow Flies grabbed me, it's a kit, in the cart with 40 count for now.
Hubs is painting the ceiling, preparing for the wall repair/cover with shiplap. White Dove from Ben Moore, eggshell finish. Entire room including windows and door will be the same. This will also cover the kitchen cabinets. And after a sample board hinted at the result, once again, conflicted. Too much white? Should cabinets be lightened to the cream trim color (on board) instead of white? Dammit. I thought this was settled.
Large pieces of scrap plywood and cardboard will be fit over several cabinets, painted, and offer a preview.
Lots of work ahead.
Yoi.

Oh, that bunny is just the cutest! Stop tempting me, Marly! I have way too many bunny smalls as it is :) And As the Crow Flies is another winner. Stacy does such an excellent job designing her birds and animals.
Wow! That is one big project you have going on. We just painted two rooms here and not even the trim and are wiped out. I have an all white kitchen with just a touch of navy in the backsplash and counter edging. I've had it for 28 years now and have never tired of it. It always looks fresh and clean and really lightens up the whole space. Good luck with your decision--sometimes there are just way too many choices out there!
I have been tempted to buy the bunny pattern too, but have resisted thus far. I bought too many already from the market. Good luck with the project. Janice
Maggie Mae is simply adorable.
I fell in love with Maggie Mae as well but know I would likely never ever get her ffo'd even if I got her stitched. 3-d stitched finishes are daunting to me. I'm an overthinker of the highest rank and am driving myself absolutely crazy with the redo at the lake. But go through the step of painting cardboard/plywood for trials, nah.... Too many decisions to make and gotta move on. Will I make the absolute right decisions on things? Heck no. But I've also learned that there really are no absolute right decisions. Personally, I like what you have in there now. (Says the person with all stark white cabinets and trim (at the lake).... ~Robin~
Oh...and I have As the Crow Flies as well... Keep looking at it thinking I should start but it's been months now and still haven't.
Do love Maggie Mae too,but didn't buy this one-- have to many charts to stitch already...
Take care, Truus from Holland
